I read they bloom at night, is this true?

I have both the rainbow hedgehog cactus and the “regular” hedgehog cactus and they bloom during the day. The flower lasts about 2 days if you’re lucky. They’re beautiful though and totally worth seeing it for that short time.

Are they fully rooted?

Yes, they are fully rooted. However, if planting outdoors, they prefer to be planted bare-rooted, after the soil in the pot has dried out. The soil can be removed from the roots easier, then.

What would the dimensions befor the pot you add one to?

Right now they are in 2.5" pots. We also have some in 4" pots as well. A 4" pot will last a long time for this type of cactus

When the package is delivered is it clearly marked on the outside that there is a live plant inside?
