I should have given more weight to another reviewer who had problems with their unit as soon as they got it, and their complaints about the company.QUOTE FROM THE USER MANUAL, PAGE 3: "After stirring for several minutes (The machine's continuous working hours are not more than 10 minutes)..."....OMG! It states the unit, A COMMERCIAL MIXER, cannot be used FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES AT A TIME AS IT MAY OVERHEAT THE INTERNAL CIRCUIT BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!1) I was told I'd be contacted IN ADVANCE to schedule delivery. Luckily for me, I happened to be home when the driver called me FROM MY DRIVEWAY, stating he was delivering the mixer.2) The mixer had several scratches and dents in it, (SEE PIC ABOVE) and the area where the bowl sits appears to have been used MANY, MANY times, then possibly repainted. The rim where the bowl sits into a cavity was dented in a way that a new mixer could not possibly be dented all around the edges THAT MANY TIMES. I paid nearly ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS for what looks like it's a refurbished unit, sold as new.3) READ THE MANUAL THEY SEND WITH IT: SEE SOME PICS ABOVE.. It's unbelievable4) The manual also tells you TO RUN THE MIXER FOR 1-2 MINUTES EVERY SINGLE TIME BEFORE USING IT, TO ALLOW IT TO WORK OUT ANY ISSUES INTERNALLY. W-T-F!!!" "Make sure the machine operates for one or two minutes the first time you use it EVERY DAY. " Seriously. Turn this piece of crap on and let it run for two minutes before you use it. Like I have time to waste in a production baking facility.5) The shroud over the bowl HAS TO BE UNSCREWED TO REMOVE IT IN ORDER TO WASH IT...which you would HAVE TO DO TO CLEAN IT AFTER EVERY USE FOR SANITATION. Unscrew it just to be able to wash it????? SERIOUSLY?????6) The manual also says the ONLY ATTACHMENT FOR USE WITH HIGH VISCOSITY (I make frosting, which is shortening and sugar, VERY high viscosity in the early mixing stage) is the dough hook. It states the BEATER is for NO viscosity foods, like mixing stuffing. I'M SUPPOSED TO WHIP MY FROSTING WITH A FRIGGEN DOUGH HOOK?????7) IT REPEATEDLY BLEW THE CIRCUIT E-V-E-R-Y TIME I TURNED IT ON. There was nothing else on the circuit and I've never had the circuit blow before no matter what I plugged into it.8) WARRANTY: I called KWS in CA to ask about the manufacturers warranty. The warranty is PARTS ONLY, NO LABOR, EVEN WHEN IT IS BRAND NEW (DURING THE FIRST YEAR AFTER PURCHASE). They will direct you to youtube videos or talk you through FIXING IT YOURSELF. OR YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR A SERVICE TECH TO COME REPAIR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT REPUTABLE MANUFACTURER DOES THAT?????To be clear, they told me on the 1 and only phone call I got out of them that they MANUFACTURE THESE UNITS AT THEIR PLANT IN CA. (THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS, EVEN WHEN YOU'RE JUST ASKING FOR INFO, SO THERE'S A MAJOR RED FLAG!!!) So they manufacture them, yet I get what definitely looks like a very used, returned unit that was defective. And...Amazon no longer sells this. BEWARE!!!.DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!

This mixer is heavy. It came in a custom made wood crate with no "this side up" sign. Lots of oil in the crate. It is still leaking oil. I am not physically capable of returning it, which was a risk I took. Oil does not leak in bowl so I will use it until the motors burns up due to lack of oil. There is vary little variation in the mixer speed, does not self scrape bowl.

The mixer did the job well, but I was leaking blue oil and it looked used. You pay a lot of money and you get this!! And there’s was a lot of problems just avoid it, that’s the best thing to do.
