Halyard Health 48100 Lite One Surgical Masks44; Blue - 50 Per Box

My workplace is 100% vaccinated, but corporate rules (and good sense) means we still need to be masked in case we get un-vaccinated visitors (for their protection).These 48100 lightweight masks seem to be about right for all day wear and comfort. The tie straps are comfortable, and the mask is easy to pull down for eating, and pull back up afterward.I previously used a heavier Halyard 48390 mask that was also very comfortable.BP Medical is an Amazon supplier that shipped the real Halyard 48100 masks to me recently.

The only wrinkle is the lenght of the bands. They are too shorts to knot easily, too shorts. Otherwise good mask.

I wear a mask every day at work and always when I go out. These masks are softer than most and don't have a funny smell like some. They have ties not elastic over the ear pieces that constantly snap and break. THEY DON'T SLIP OFF YOUR NOSE WHEN YOU TALK! I adjust them around my ears and cut off the excess ties. Good price too.

I didn’t like the fact that they were not in a bag, they were just in the box and my box was torn because of the handling. I don’t feel they are very sanitary. They should be in a sealed bag before they go into the box. I love that they tie on.

These masks are the same as all cheap disposable ones, but cost a lot more because the tie behind the head instead of wrap around the ear. They are incredibly difficult to tie on yourself.The picture falsely makes it seem that these have 2 elastic bands that simply stretch around your head, they do not! You must tie them on twice, behind your head.I bought these for my Dad. Due to cancer, he is missing the part of his ear that a normal mask wraps around, to secure it in place. He's been wearing a neck gaiter since the start of Covid, but now more than 18 months in to this ****, places now aren't allowing neck gaiters. Businesses have no answer when he shows/explains that traditional masks can't be held on without an ear. They just deny entry. Discrimination against the handicapped??!!We thought these masks may be his salvation, but no. It is very difficult to tie these onto your own head! Why not elastic, like every traditional mask uses?Still searching for a less expensive disposable version with elastic bands that wrap around the head. There are expensive fabric ones out there with elastic bands that wrap around the back of the head, but someone needs to make a cheap disposable version!

I love these masks. They were discontinued at the hospital I work at so I order them on my own. They are the only ones that don’t irritate my face.These masks are for wearing in the operating room, Not for walking around day to day. I am not sure why people were complaining that they had to tie two ties behind their heads. It’s exactly shown in the picture.I highly recommend these especially if you have sensitive skin!
