PDP Gaming Energizer Dual Controller Charging System: Black - PS5/PS4

Super cool-looking. Love the lights. The acrylic brackets that hold the controllers glow a nice blue once they're charged (orange when a controller is charging... the other controller will stay blue if it's already charged). I keep it plugged in even after the controllers are charged and I haven't had any problems with the unit or my controllers. It's always lit up when I'm not playing and looks great... bright enough to look cool, but not so bright as to be annoying, in my opinion. I've got it sitting right next to my TV. The brackets hold the controllers well, they stay level and almost look like they're floating. It's a really nice addition and it goes well with the sleek design of the PS4. It's been over 3 months since I bought it (reviewing kind of late) and I haven't had any problems with it. I wanted a two-tier floating-style charger and went with Energizer over a bunch of Never-Heard-of-'Em brands because I assumed they would put out a good product, and I ended up being right. The unit itself (without the controllers plugged in) is fairly lightweight, but, I wouldn't call it "flimsy" at all like another reviewer said. When the controllers are plugged into it, the unit has enough weight to keep it upright and where it needs to be, even if you bump it a bit. Basically, If you treat it like a normal human being and you're not stomping on it, you're probably good to go until the next-gen rolls around. So, no regrets here. I agree with one of the other reviewers... looks like something straight out of Star Wars. Love it.

I game too hardcore and I gotta stay mlg so I bought this amazingly fast charging station. I switch between controllers and it's great because they are fully charged within an hour. Wouldn't it be ridiculous if someone had bought 2 of these charging stations for 4 controllers? Now that's too mlg. But hey the more mlg the better right? Anyways all an all this dual charger station is pretty legit works perfectly. I thought it wouldn't work once I had received it from the mail dude. But it works. It may look a bit flimsy but it's pretty stationary once you put your controllers on them. And don't be afraid to jam the controller in the port...I actually thought I broke the port of the charger but I didn't so it's all good. You should buy it. The price keeps dropping and it might go back up to 30. Peace

Very nice charge stand. We've had it for about a month now and it's worked flawlessly so far. We've had the PS3 version for years and it still works wonderfully. So far this product seems to be just as good as it's predecessor.It's design and color scheme is a little different from the PS3 version. The stand is still black with clear plastic cradles, but it has a matte finish and the chrome\silver accent along the front is gone along with the rounded base. The new base is y shaped with two feet in the front and one in the rear. The rear is a light grey plastic. The light colors for charging and charged are orange and blue, rather than red and green and the lights are also a little brighter with this version. Unlike the previous model, this stand has "Energizer" engraved across the top and for this reason I dinged it a star. Though I appreciate Energizer for making the product, a sticker\engravement\embossment in a more subtle place would have not taken away as much from the aesthetic.It's a little more difficult to seat controllers as compared to to the PS3 version. This seems to be primarily the fault of the use of micro-mini usb ports chosen by Sony and not really the fault of the charge stand. It's a bit annoying, but once seated it fits snugly and the controllers don't seem to fall out of the stand as easily as they did for the PS3 version, so that sort of balances it out. It could also just be that we're so used to the older one that we just have to get the hang of putting the new controllers in the new stand. It may become easier with time and practice. Either way, it's not so difficult as to be frustrating. It just takes a few extra seconds to put it in carefully.The 2-prong power cord does have a little box on the plug end, but it's not very bulky. It's about the size of a cell phone charger plug.All in all it's a very good product which I would recommend for any PS4 owner.

I would have bought this product a long time ago if only I'd known how well it worked. Aesthetically it is very pleasing to look at with its glossy black finish and orange and blue charged/ready lights. The cord on the wall plug was quite long as well. I swear that the controllers stay charged for longer too, as opposed to using the charging cable/USB port on the front of my PS4. I am very satisfied and highly recommend this item.

It works as it should and charges as fast as any other charger I've used. The sticking points, at least for me, are twofold. One, the charger uses the micro-usb ports behind the lightbar on the top of the Dualshock 4, meaning you plug them and they sit horizontally (NOT vertically, as the image shows). This would be fine, but actually getting the controller inserted and seated correctly is something of a crapshoot and it doesn't feel terribly sturdy or secure once they are seated. The second issue, and a big pet-peeve of mine, is the LED lighting the charger uses. Controllers are docked into clear plastic grips with LED lights behind them to tell you the progress of the charge. When the battery is low the light is orange, when the battery is full it's blue. Again, this would be fine, but if a controller is docked the light never goes off, and they are INCREDIBLY bright. I have blackout curtains, so when all lights are off in my room it is pitch black, yet if even one controller is docked the light output is roughly equal to a small lamp being on. It's enough of an annoyance that I cannot have a controller docked while sleeping, or the whole room is bathed in a pale blue or orange light that's bright enough to keep me up. It's fine for the price, and works well enough, but when/if this one stops working I certainly won't be buying another.

Me gusta su diseño y sobre todo la carga de los controles es muy rápida, una hora aprox y estan listos a full! Excelente compra para su precio y calidad! lo recomiendo mucho!

This works great at easily and quickly charging your PS4 controllers. It uses AC power to charge them so it does it very quickly, and the orange/blue LED lights are great for knowing when they are fully charged. The controllers fit easily in and out of the holders, something I did not find with many others I have tried. It even works with a silicon skin on the controller. We all know PS4 controllers don't last very long at all, this is the one to get to keep them ready to go.rAy

Scrivo questa breve recensione su loggetto di per se non ciè molto da dire in quanto a funzioni, carica i vosti pad e lo fa egregiamente. A didifferenza di moltre altre soluzioni ho preferito spendere un po di piu per questa configurazione poichè e lunica che abbia trovato con trasformatore A/C e non usb come tutti gli altri, lo preferisco per il semplice fatto che in primis affidate 150€ di pad ad una base da pochi euro non sarebbe una mossa giusta, basta poco uno sbalzo di tensione o un corto per friggere i vostri pad. Energizer è sinonimo di affidabilità e garanzia, ma parliamo piu nello specifico. Gli agganci prendono bene i pad e ne mantengono il peso, gli attacchi micro usb sono di qualità e il led di ricarica e molto comodo e in due colorazioni uno per la ricarica in corso e il secondo blu che ci avverte che i pad sono carichi. La comodita di avere un adattatore da muro e che anche se la nostra play e spenta i pad si ricaricano e li troviamo subbito pronti per le nostre partite, a differenza di altre soluzioni (usb) che richiedono la play accesa per la ricarica... Che altro dire se volete il meglio questo è l'articolo che fa per voi.

Excellent dock charging, colour goes from red when charging to blue when charged. Looks great, I tend to unplug the dock when the controllers are fully charged rather than leave on all the time.It helps to view the male plug that is in the dock to line it up with the socket in the controller as you can't just pop the controller in the dock perfectly every time, but this is no more trouble than inserting the cable. Easy to remove each controller, all working great so far, really chuffed and for a fantastic price.

Pros - Good built quality very sturdy instead of being a plastic body doesn't feel cheap at all ,Can charge upto 2 controllers simultaneously , Charging LED lights let you know when the controllers get fully charged , gets the controllers charging in less than 2 seconds , super secure fit when the controller is installed , less space consuming . the controllers don't fall off even when you hold the charging dock direct downwards , very easy installation just requires an AC adapter to the wall , It supports 100v-240v which means you don't need a step-down transformer to work in India just plug and play worldwide.Cons - placing the PS4 controller on the dock charging port at times can get a little tricky and may take a little getting use to it . Charging LEDs are a little on brighter side and if you are playing in a dark room at night with a controller charging - it can get a little annoying and distracting.All in All a wonderful purchase and I would like to thank Amazon and iBhejo for a very professional packaging and on time delivery .
