Boys of Special Forces, Book 5), more than lived up to the guarantee of a good read. It made me laugh, it made me cry and sometimes, it made me do both at the same time. I found myself sneaking away from my desk to read just one more chapter. In simpler terms, this book just did it for me.Wet for Her Warriors reminded me of all the reasons I fell in love with Angel Payne’s writing. It had not one, but two, alpha men who were confident enough to let their woman be herself. It had one smart, sassy, strong-willed and independent woman who knew when to accept love. It had an emotional journey for its characters that we could relate to and a storyline that kept me glued to my e-reader.It is Tait and Kellan’s turn to be the focus and find true love. Tait was a broken man after the death of his lover Luna. If you read A WILDer Wonderland (and if you haven’t, shame on you), then you know that Tait is drowning in sorrow and guilt over Luna’s death. His best friend Kellan is doing everything he can to snap Tait out of it but with no success. Their CO Jon Franzen orders them to take some R & R at his home in Kauai. Despite the beautiful landscape, Tait continues to drink until he forgets and Kellan doesn’t know how to reach him.It is during one of their “discussions” about Tait’s behavior when they are knocked on their behinds by the beautiful Lani. I think I fell in love with Lani at that moment. She knocked down two Special Force operatives and gave them a tongue lashing for their behavior. That’s my kind of girl. But Lani was so much more than that. She was a free-spirited soul with so much inner strength and heart that I’m not surprised it would take two men to satisfy her.I loved the different relationships in this book. The growing love between Kellan and Lani was just as enjoyable and touching as was the healing love between Tait and Lani. Lani’s bond with her brother Leo showed how loving and caring Lani was. And the growing friendship between Leo and Tait was sheer joy. But oddly it was the bond between Kellan and Tait that was the sweetest. Whether they were bantering, fighting, or working together to love their woman, they never failed to touch my heart.And while the main focus of Wet for Her Warriors was the evolving love between the trio, Ms. Payne still gave us the tension filled drama that she does so well. A nemesis from previous books makes reappearance and we’re introduced to some new ones. But the real WTH moment occurs near the end and will have you screaming for the next book to be available.Let’s not forget the hot sex which is a staple with our WILD boys. And now we have double the fun. The chemistry between the three may just blow up your e-reader but worth every sweaty, steamy moment.While you could read Wet for Her Warriors as a standalone, I don’t recommend it. Many of the references will be lost on you and you won’t truly understand Tait’s pain. Plus the series is just amazing and will provide hours of enjoyment.After reading Wet for Her Warriors, you’ll understand why the W.I.L.D. Boys are a USA Today best selling series. Tait is grief-stricken. John Franzen, their battalion CO, sends Tait (T-Bomb) and Kellan to his family’s home in Kauai, to take some much needed R&R. Tait’s guilt over how Luna died and his inability to move on from his grief threatened to ruin his military career. Two weeks on the island, with his best friend, was suppose to help him find his way back.An attraction to their neighbor, Lani, brings out the best in both of them. They are very protective and step in to save her home from Developer, Gunter Benson. Protecting Lani could be the distraction Tait needs to move forward. What was to be a very personal journey of letting go and moving on turned into something so much more.The attraction between the three of them was very emotional. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. Life is short and there are no guarantees; there is no room for guilt or missed opportunities. The chemistry between Lani, Tait and Kellan was incredible.There are some twists and turns and the suspense will keep you so riveted that you won’t be able to put this book down. They all needed their own form of healing and their love story will renew your faith in second chances, fate and the power of love. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WOW, Is All I Can Say!! *squeee!!* *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 10, 2014* Seriously fantastic beautiful hot romance. This was my first novel by this author and I have become an instant fan/addict. This novel has one of the most beautifully sweet heart wrenching threesome (m/f/m) I have ever read. It has elements of BDSM, and of course an unconventional relationship. I normally don't read novels with any religious overtones but this novel was done so well that it had a sense of spirituality that was incredible. Okay saying it has a religious theme is a little off being about a threesome and BDSM but it DOES have a spiritual aspect that was really neat. I have no adequate words to describe how much I enjoyed this and I can probably ramble forever on how much I enjoyed this so don't hesitate to buy this novel! I loved the witty snarky soldiers and the female main character. Their dialogue had me grinning. I'm gonna go snatch up the rest of this series. The author's name is very appt considering all aspects of this novel and she has an instant fan in me. I think it was a little sweet a little cheesy but in all the best ways and the sex scenes were pretty darn hot.
