Display party was great. Met all the expectations that was present it. I would highly recommend.

This is a great activity to spend some time with kids. Educational, fun, and they can play with it afterwards. Once put together, the base and main part are pretty sturdy. And it won't drip out since the bottom ring doesn't have any holes.This garden has a pretty good instruction set, except for information about the lights and music in the roof. It needs three 1.5V batteries. It doesn't say what type of battery to use so based on voltage and size I used three Maxell Alkaline LR44/A76 1.5V calculator batteries and it worked great.You could target this at a wide age range. I did this garden and another garden with my 7 year old daughter and 4 year old son.

The only reason I gave this only 4 stars is because it is lacking a couple of things:1. Instructions for building the thing. It's not rocket science, but I have a feeling there may be some people who won't know what to do based on the pictures2. The batteries for the lights and music. It takes 3 of the little 1.5 volt batteries, which didn't come with it. Those aren't the kind of batteries I (or many people, I'm sure) have laying around.Now that that's out of the way, I think this is a really fun thing for little ones. My daughter was really excited about it before we even put the seeds and dirt in.There were a LOT of seeds. The instructions said to space them apart 1/4 - 1/2 inch or so, and there was no way that was going to happen with the number of seeds. There are sever kinds of seeds too, so I am anxious to see what they end up being.The seeds on the top level have really taken off into lots of green sprouts, but the lower level hasn't as much. I don't know if it's because they are covered up a bit more, or the stand needs to be rotated so it gets more even light all the way around... but that may just mean there will be a spot to put the little table and chairs on the bottom, because i don't think there will be on the top!

My 4 year old granddaughter loved this kit. We had a great time planting the seeds & arranging the landscape. It’s small enough for her to manage on her own. All the seeds sprouted which she lovingly tended with the tiny watering can. Mom supplemented with water from a larger container!A great experience for parent or grandparent & child.

The pieces don't lock into place. Touch them and they fall apart. Disappointing for my 4 year old grandchildren, since once we planted the seeds I don't dare let them near it. If they try to play with it, it falls apart. The base is likewise unstable. So little hands can knock the whole thing over and kill the plants.

My daughter wanted this for her birthday, I was skeptical because I wasn’t sure it would actually grow anything but we took a chance and bought it. We are so satisfied with our purchase, it literally comes with everything you need.. most importantly the the soil and seeds to really grow a “garden”. My daughter had a blast planting the seeds and then watching them grow. They grew quick too!

This fairy house garden matched my expectations. I would recommend super-gluing the parts together because they do easily separate otherwise. The seeds germinated quickly and my granddaughter has loved watching everything grow. She was slightly disappointed that a fairy was not included but easily substituted one of her Playmobil figures and was happy. Three weeks after Christmas and everything is still growing and she is still enchanted.
