This product is now recommended in a new nutrition book called It's Not the Cans: The Best Nutrient Balance for a Stronger and Healthier You This is the best magnesium product on the market (glycinate + chelated + buffered)! You cannot get any better than this combination which makes this TOP QUALITY. Swanson may have a better price on their website. Buy it. However its the Taurine (combined with this product)that is making the bigger difference!!!! I experimented and know the Taurine is the bigger benefit! At first I took 400 mg of Magnesium each night which helped prevent foot cramps. I still sometimes got a minor cramp at night but not as painful and not as often. I added 500 mg Tauring to my 400 mg magnesium. No more foot cramps but still had muscle twitches in my feet. I tried an experiment. I doubled the Taurine (1000 mg) with 200 mg Magnesium. No more cramps. I dropped to 200 mg Magnesium. Still no cramps. I dropped back to 500 mg Taurine and 200 mg Magnesium. Foot cramp returned (not severe). I doubled the Magnesium (400 mg) with 500 mg Taurine, foot cramps every couple of nights, not severe. I Doubled Taurine (1000 mg) and dropped down to 200 mg Magnesium (no foot cramps but did have muscle twitches). I added an additional 500 to 1000 mg Taurine in the day. Few days later NO CRAMPS and NO TWITCHES!!!! So I take 500-1000 mg Taurine with 266 mg (two capsules) Magnesium with dinner. I take an additional 133mg (1 capsule) of this product just before bed time (also added 99mg potassium) and I take 500 or 1000 mg Taurine late morning or early afternoon. ALL MUSCLE TWITCHES IN EVERY PART OF MY BODY ARE GONE!!! On days that I work out I take an additional 1000 mg of Taurine. I have not had a single cramp or twitch since then!!! Taurine transports electrolytes into your cells. So adding Taurine actually delivers more into the cells. Adding more magnesium and potassium makes more of it available in your blood but Taurine is the missing link needed to take it from your blood into your cells. !!!! PLEASE CONSIDER 500-1000 mg of TAURINE with dinner and an additional 500 to 1000 mg midday !!!! My mood is even better now. I feel like my old self again (the ten years ago version). THESE ARE REAL RESULTS! !!!! Also take the Magnesium. This Magnesium product is top quality. Do NOT overdose Magnesium!!! Try not to exceed 400 mg a day. Try to stay at 400 mg or less because it can become toxic and even fatal if you take too much over an extended period of time!!! You must consider that you may also be getting some magnesium via the foods you eat. WHY I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT - I WANTED A 100mg (or so) DOSE OPTION OF THIS HIGH QUALITY MAGNESIUM I take an additional magnseium pill (+ 1000mg Taurine + 99mg Potassium) just as I walk into the gym to workout. Until now I only had 200mg dose pills of the Albion Chelated Glycinate Buffered magnesium. I ordered this product because it offers 133mg dose pills of Albion Chelated Magnesium. I simply wanted to lower my total daily magnesium intake a little. Until now I only had 200mg pills (Bluebonnet). I always take 1 at night (200mg). When I take an additional 200mg magnesium pill before the gym that equals 400mg for that day (I workout 4 days per week). This lower dosage will allw me to only take 133mg with one pill vs 200mg. So now I can either take 133mg (1 Swanson pill) before I hit the gym and 200mg (1 Bluebonnet) before I go to bed OR the other way around. That will be a total of 333mg instead of 400mg on the days that I work out. I may even try to drop down to 133mg before the gym and only 133mg before bed (once or twice per week) for a daily total of 266mg in order to lower my overall weekly intake of magnesium. There are no absolutes when it comes to how much daily magnesium each person needs. We are all different. Other countries base their RDA on your weight. Example; I THINK I read that the RDA for magnesium in some European countries ranges from a minimum of 2mg to a maximum of 6mg per pound per person. So if I went with the minimum of 2mg per pound and weigh 200lbs my total RDA would be 400mg per day. Please note the TOTAL includes the magnesium I get from the foods I eat. So if my food gave me an average of 50mg of magnesium I should take an additional 350mg in supplements (pills). I prefer to go with a maximum of 3mg per pound times 200lbs equals 600mg per day. If my foods are supplying 100mg then my maximum daily supplement dose should be an additional 500mg (pills). NOTE: I prefer to separate daily doses into to two or three smaller doses throughout the day vs one large dose per day when possible.

Best magnesium glycinate out there
I've tried so many magnesium glycinate products that had little effect, but Swanson's pulled through again with this stellar product. I feel it works so much more effectively with it being chelated. It seems like it's being absorbed better. I am sleeping more soundly, with less muscle cramping.

Our go-to Magnesium! Been using it daily for years. They say most Americans are deficient, and we saw immediate results. Dr Berg recommends the Magnesium Glycinate as the preferred type for most, and we each found our perfect daily dosage. Life changing for regularity issues, which I guess can be a symptom of deficiency.
