Is the bowl dishwasher safe?

If you have the 04868 popper, wash the cover/serving bowl and lid in warm, sudsy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not wash in a dishwasher or scour surfaces with steel wool or abrasive cleaners. Do you need oil to pop the corn?

If you have a 04868 popper, oil cannot be used. This pops the corn with hot air. Pouring oil or adding butter or shortening to the popping chamber will destroy the motor. If I for some reason dont like this pop corn maker, is this idem returnable?

We returned ours, with no issues. Popper how ever kept turning off.
