When I added slivers of this parmesan to a salad at dinner one night, my husband loved it so much he now really enjoys having salad! He's not a big veggie eater, so win-win to have a new way to get at least greens in front of him! Comes packaged in sealed cooler bag with ice and then in box marked "perishable". I have been ordering our Parmigiano Reggiano from Frank & Sal's for a couple of years now.
