I was afraid that they would be to heavy but the weight is very light and they dangle so wonderfully from your earlobes. And since they are lightweight, you can wear them for long periods of time without causing any pain or discomfort. The materials used are of perfect quality, no cheap thing when it comes to these beauties. I also love that since they come giftwrapped in a box, you can give them as is and be the talk of the town. They are so lightweight! Considering their length and that they are lacquered beads, I'm still surprised at how light they are. I've been wearing them for three weeks; no problem wearing them for a 12 hour day. The gold colored hooks are well balanced. I haven't had one try to escape my ear yet! No need for a securing back. The lacquered color is rich and even. I will definitely consider more pairs from Unkudu.The packaging is fabulous too. It comes in a branded flip top cardboard box. Inside is a felt pouch with an embroidered Ü. Untwist the cord to lift the flap and reveal a round red jewelry box.
