Firedog Ammo Pouch, Slingshot Ammo Pouch for 9mm .22Lr .38 Hunting Leather Ammo Belt Storage

Very elegant and well crafted leather pouch. It reminds me of leather products crafted for the outdoors largely available in the earlier part of the 20th century, it looks handcrafted and well designed and is of heirloom quality. Happy with my purchase of this leather pouch, have already rub some Sno-seal into the leather and ready for some outdoor adventures.

Great little pouch for the price. Magnetic latch works better than expected. The opening is a little tight for my thick fingers, but functions just fine as a cartridge pouch, particularly for 22LR. Bought another to hold a Bic lighter & chunks of fat pine, very convenient to keep on hunting belt for quick fire.

The pouch is heavy duty. It will hold my 22 shells just fine, and last for years. I am applying leather conditioner to soften it up and darken it. The only thing is it does stink. I do believe the smell will lesson over time. I am happy with my purchase.

These are really cool looking for an ammo carrier. I carry extra .22 WMR ammo for my revolver. The leather is of good quality and the flaps seal effectively with the magnet clasp. You could easily carry 50 or so rounds of .22 LR. I have used the 2 I purchased for over a year with excellent results.

Once this leather is worked in so that it opens with ease (it is thick, good leather, so it will be stiff when new), it is a near-perfect way to have slingshot ammo at hand. I good quality leather conditioner will help with break-in, by the way. No pouch bouncing around as you walk — just ammo on your hip, where you need it.

Nice sturdy pouch, heavy stitching, surprisingly strong magnetic clasp. It;s a very nice pouch but I would have liked it much better if it had been about 1/3 larger overall for better access to the pouch. Still, it' is a very well made pouch.

Bought this for carrying loose .22 shells for my Rolling Block and CZ bolt action. Overall this pouch hits on all cylinders!! For only $10 this is some quality thick leather with solid stitching. The magnetic closure is easy to work with but doesn't seem like it'll open by itself in the field. The internal leather flaps look great for ammo retention but do make it a little cramped to get rounds out, I might trim them back some. Holds roughly 100 rounds of loose .22 ammo, plenty for a full day of plinking and more than enough for an entire season of hunting, but doesn't take up much space on the belt. The belt loop fits my 1.5" bullhide gun belt perfectly, it's not too tight. Overall this is exactly what I was looking for and am glad I bought it, GREAT option for the price and would work well for everything from .22 ammo like I use it for to slingshot balls to air gun pellets etc.

#1, This is Red Chinese military surplus. I think that only the magnetic snap (it's worst feature) is new. The leather is thick (if slightly discolored with age and storage). The sewing thread is also mil-spec and even waxed. That being said, it's a great belt pouch or even a little large change purse. No matter it's a great value.
