UPDATED REVIEW: After writing my review I decided to forward it to the customer service department at Crave Naturals and found their email on their website. I received an immediate response from the founder of the company, Kristen who explained the source of the issue and offered to send me a replacement brush and a refund. She did explain to me that issue was as follows: “When a customer decides to return a brush to Amazon, they ship it back to an Amazon warehouse. At that time an Amazon employee takes the product out of the return box and makes a decision as to whether or not it is to be discarded or put back into Amazon inventory. I have told Amazon in the past that all of our returns should be discarded because they are sanitary in nature and should not be used by more than one person. Unfortunately, it appears that they are not following our requests.” I received my package from Kristen today and she sent me TWO new brushes and they were 100% brand new and wonderful. She exceeded my expectations and completely changed my perspective of her company and staff. I’m honestly happier now than I would have been if I got sent a brand new brush delivered from Amazon from the start. The brush works wonders when it comes to detangling hair. It’s very gentle and I noticed a lot less hair came out compared to using my regular brush or wide tooth comb. I haven’t gotten to use it on a knot yet but I feel very confident that I won’t be using the scissors on my knots anymore because this will work perfectly to get my knots and tangles out. I would now 100% recommended going with this company if considering buying one of these detangling brushes because no matter what Kristen, the founder of the company has a mission to make all of her customers completely satisfied. Thank you Kristen!!! PREVIOUS REVIEW: Was so excited to try out this new brush. After seeing it multiple times on TV I knew I needed to order one for myself. Being born with fine hair and choosing to bleach it every couple of months has led to multiple hair issues such as damage, breakage, slow growth, and tangling and knotting very easily. I’ve suffered with hair loss, bald spots and knots so bad that after hours of trying to get them untangled, I give up and just end up cutting out the chunk of my hair... So I am always doing research to learn the best, new techniques and remedies in order to have healthy and happy hair and this brush seemed like the perfect fix to my tangling issues. I choose this brand because it was listed as “Amazon’s Choice” and had a high rating with plenty of reviews so I figured it was a safe bet to go with this brand. I had ordered it with eight other things to get faster shipping and it arrived the next day with my other items in a fairly large box. When opening my Amazon package and grabbing the box with the brush inside, I immediately noticed the brush box was damaged and it looked like it had been squished or dropped. Since it came in a big Amazon box I knew that it didn’t happen during shipping so I figured it happened at the factory before being boxed up but it was just the box so I didn’t think much of it. When opening the brush box I immediately saw a dark hair on the brush underneath the plastic... Having blonde hair myself I knew there was no possible way it could have been mine so it was obvious to me that the brush had been purchased by someone else, returned and then shipped off to me which is why the box appeared to be tampered with. I’m pretty disgusted at the fact they would send me a used brush that had been returned. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t inspect the returned brush to make sure it hadn’t been used before sending it to someone else advertising it as a “new” product. The fact that they didn’t even take the time to inspect it or sanitize it during the time of a pandemic just goes to show poor management in my eyes. I’m very disappointed with this purchase and would recommend going with a different company/brand if choosing to buy this detangling brush. There are a lot of other ones that I’m sure wouldn’t be sending out used, returned brushes.

This brush is functional and inventive. It is also really cute! More importantly though, it works very well! I bought this brush because, after a long period of stress, I found that my hair was starting to fall out in large clumps. After taking other obvious actions (doctor visit, supplements, etc.), I decided that it might also be helpful to stop using the medieval torture device I had been using to brush my hair in the shower. Hence, I turned to the Crave Detangling Brush. This brush does not strangle and tug at the hair. In fact, I can hard feel it gliding through my mane like butter. It releases the knots (while massaging the scalp!), and it does not break the ends. I found that the wad of hair I removed from the brush after using it to comb through my conditioned hair in the shower was about a third the size of the wad I had been amassing and removing with my old brush. A THIRD!! Now if you knew just how much of my beautiful, luscious glory had been coming out in handfuls just prior, you could appreciate the staggering reduction in size of this tragic hairball. Additionally, since it leaves my tips intact, all the pulling and tugging during brushing are minimized which, I believe, contributes to the total amount of hair left attached to my head! My single complaint about this brush has to do with its ergonomic design. Although the brush is shaped to fit comfortably and beautifully in the hand (and it does), it can also be a bit difficult to maintain a good grip on the handle, esp. in the shower. As it turns out, the texture of the brush itself becomes incredibly slick when wet, and esp. when your hand is coated (even slightly) with conditioner. Hence, it becomes insanely difficult to get a good enough grip to get the brush all the way through the length of the hair when using it in the shower. I'm thinking a thick rubber band wrapped tightly around the handle might alleviate the problem, or perhaps some other tweak could be found to accommodate this single minor inconvenience, but it is in no way a deal breaker. The brush is great! I got it in the lilac color, so it is gorgeous as well. I would recommend this brush to anyone who has trouble with breakage or hair loss, or who has a sensitive scalp, tendencies toward tangling, or who would just like to have a very nice, cute, ergonomic, functional brush that feels nice to use and does what it is supposed to do. I'm really happy I invested in it and my hair thanks me too.

This brush was a Christmas present and I love it. It was given to me to replace my Wet Brush and it's definitely a step up. It doesn't have the little ends on the bristles that can fall off and stab your head and it's design is fun and stylish. It has done a great job detangling painlessly and my hair looks great after brushing. I also love how easy it is to completely clean out...no digging for all the hair that is trapped! My daughter tries to steal it, so time to purchase another one. My only complaint is the handle size. I do like that this brush is more compact-sized for packing in my cosmetic bag, however it's hard to keep a good grip on. Great overall brush though! Thanks Crave!

What a great little brush! I have very curly hair, and it works exactly as promised. It's gentle and effective. I have two, so I can keep one in my bathroom and one in my suitcase toiletry bag so there's no danger of forgetting to pack it!

This brush works great for my fine hair. I use it primarily to remove knots and detangle after shower. The short bristles are efficient and this design is light weight, easy to hold, and easy to clean compared to other brush types. I wasn’t sure I’d like it but so glad I tried it out. You should too - especially if you have tried other types of detangling brushes and are ready to find one that doesn’t brake apart or cause pain. I do use it with a detangling spray but the shorter bristles make the comb out less traumatic, pain free, and efficient. The price point enables you to have one brush for home and another for the gym bag. I bought my second brush a week after testing this one. Don’t hesitate. Buy it and try it out to see if it works for you.

Not for left handed people! This is probably a great product but is awkward to use as I am left handed and the curve is made for a right handed person. I can’t really rate it fairly. @Cravenaturals, please make a left handed version, then it would be a 5/5.

I really like this Crave Naturals Glide Thru Detangling Brush.It glides through my medium hair gently without pulling or scratching my scalp. The bristles are flexible and feel soft, making it comfortable to use on both wet and dry hair. One of my favorite things about this brush is how well it smooth my hair when I’m putting it into a ponytail or messy bun. The handle is easy to hold., and the brush feels comfortable in my hand while styling. My hair is medium and thickness, so it works very well for me. I’m not sure how it would perform on very thick hair, but for my type, it does an excellent job. I would definitely recommend this brush.

This detangling brush is the best detangling brush I’ve ever used in my life the way it combs through My hair its so good. I highly recommend this detangling brush. I just finished washing my hair today and twisting it and it has stretched my hair out so well 10 out of 10 definitely buying again. The weight is amazing. The color is fantastic and it is definitely value of money, The little combs on the detangle brush is very very strong.

I think my search ends with this one. I have very hick hair. It covers it brilliantly. I honestly love how easy it is to clean. I use this while I shampoo and condition. The massage it gives is amazing. Spreads my conditioner easily. I clean it every single time I shower and it’s SO easy unlike other brushes where we struggle to get out all the hair. This doesn’t even hold dust. Breakage has reduced considerably. It’s actually zero now and better yet, I have no frizzy hair anymore. Love how compact it is too. Easily fits in my bag (not for sling bags) and the shape is really awesome to hold too. Pictures attached. It’s totally worth the price. Bristles are neither too hard nor too soft.
