Corinthian Master Bagatelle - Full Size Wooden Bagatelle Game (71cm x 33cm)

This game is great fun. You realise everyone is holding their breath as the ball clatters down the board. The board itself is very well made, very handsome, and sits well with our other games, like the Shove Ha'penny. It's a very good way of teaching children to do addition in their heads. "No, I can't do that" becomes "Let me do it" in short order. A problem we had with the spring was dealt with immmediately by Witzigs and a new board arrived within 48 hours. We are very, very impressed with product and manufacturer.

Saw one when we were at a national trust property and the kids loved it. So started looking for one, but either really expensive second hand 'retro' ones or ones that were too small and 'cheap'. But this one is great. Hours of fun for all. Better than the Xbox!

This bagatelle board is newly manufactured and superior to expensive collectors items dating from the 1930s. It arrived carefully packaged in perfect condition and was delivered very quickly. It was a Christmas present that delighted the recipient.

This is a follow up review to my previous review. The seller proactively contacted me and said that they would send me a new plunger plus a screw. These duly arrived and I replaced the plunger and used the screw. I thoroughly tested the plunger and it did not fall off so there must have been something wrong with the original plunger. Full marks to Corinthian Master for acting proactively and for such a brilliant simple game which all the family enjoyed at Christmas, including 3 and 4 year olds.

This is a well made and attracive looking item which reminds me of the bagatelle we played with as children.It is suitable for adults and youngsters so I'm looking forward to the grandchildren visiting and having a go, although one of them is left handed so not sure how she will take to it.

Although the board works to some extent, the balls do not bounce off the wooden pegs as they do on a board with brass pins. Overall it is a good enough board, if you have never had one with brass pins you may not know there is a difference.

My grandmother had one of these and we loved playing. It was eventually bequeathed to me and now our grandchildren are loving it. We have decided to buy two of these for sets of grandchildren in Netherlands (3) and USA (4). Can't wait to see their faces. The quality of the product is superb.

Arrived on time, well packaged. Game in excellent condition, nicely made, is what I expected and so far been played with twice by adults and children and all well.
