Love the overall effect
I wanted a moisturizer to address the effects of aging (55 - 65 year demographic) and the effects of a high desert climate. My skin is normal and not subject to breakouts. The texture of the caffeine moisturizer falls, to my mind, in between a cream and a gel. It applies smoothly and absorbs uniformly and fast. My skin showed no adverse reactions whatsoever. Yes, the scent is strong initially. I happen to like that burst of fresh coffee aroma, but for those who don’t, the scent dissipates very fast. The feel of the moisturizer on the skin is fresh, clean and supple. As regards noticeable effects after use for almost a month, the overall appearance of my facial skin is better: more refined, clearer and smoother. Fine lines and discoloration do seem reduced. The deeper, established lines are not affected, but then it will take more than a face cream to deal with those, and I was not expecting an effect there. Under eye discoloration and puffiness is also not noticeably reduced. For that, I will try the Lily Sado under eye cream. I find it necessary to use a richer moisturizer overnight to get my skin feeling as hydrated as I like, but overall I am very happy with the caffeine moisturizer for day time use. As I understand it, the product line is cruelty free, which is a major reason for choosing this product. In summary, I am very happy with this moisturizer and will order it again.

Still going strong with this cream a year later!
UPDATE: Just wanted to say again, how much I love this green tea and vitamin C cream; I did a video on it to share how much I love it. As I write this updated review nearly a year later I still love this cream! I live in Las Vegas and today? It's going to be 113 degress!! Also, do you know how DRY it is here in Vegas? Well? It's dry, I moved here 2 years ago and was used to the humidity in Austin, TX but now? I have to deal with dry skin :-( plus being older. This cream really helps me stay moistuized AND it looks so natural on - some creams change your skin color (like you're wearing some sunscreen and you look greasy!) You can put this cream on and not look like you're in over a 100 degree heat yet? At the same time? Your skin does not look matte (for me this makes me look like my skin is flat or older) it has a nice slightly glowy look on you. I also love that when I'm using this cream, I am putting ALL NATURAL ingredients on - no more chemicals into my skin (remember, your skin is the BIGGEST) organ out ther. There's also almost no smell to it and for the price? This cream is SO worth it!! It has proven to be my go to cream now and a little goes a long way. Hope this updated review helped! So, I recently bought this cream because i love the natural ingredients - it smells amazing - especially if you like the smell of citrus! It goes on smoothly and really hydrates. Note worthy: For those of you that like creams that make your skin look dewy (or greasy - depending on how you look at it) this cream is matte - meaning you do not look like you have cream on or as some would say - oily. If you're skin is already kind of oily this cream would be really good for you because you do NOT shine when it's on :-) IF you have dry skin and are older (like me) it won't give you that slightly dewy look...but I feel my skin looks and feels amazing with it on. (See picture of me). I'm turning 50 in November (2018) and I like the way my skin looks with this.I will say that the cream's bottle is not that big but it says clearly that it is 1.7 ounces - I would really like it if the company made the cream in a larger size. The cream comes in a pump and you don't need a lot (dime to nickle size depending on your skin) for it to have an affect.Overall? Really nice cream, best for oily skin and all natural ingredients - I look forward to using it all up and purchasing more - you cannot beat the natural ingredients, decent price and anti-aging affect it has on your skin.

Good Value
This moisturizer does a great job moisturizing without feeling heavy or sticky. It's quickly absorbed into my skin when I put it on and doesn't make my foundation "roll". The scent takes a bit of getting used to but since it is a good value for the money, then I can live with the scent. I've used other Lily Sado products and feel they make a good, quality product.

The perfect natural moisturizer!
Update 12/4/23: I have been using this moisturizer for almost 2 years now and still love it! It’s the only one I’ll use!I bought the green tea face moisturizer and so far I love it! I’m very picky when it comes to moisturizers. Some are too light and don’t moisturize enough, others are too heavy and feel greasy. But I’m pleasantly surprised with this one. My skin feels great after. Hydrated and soft, not greasy, not dry. Here are some other things I’ve come to love about it:💛It doesn’t break me out💛Even though it doesn’t have fragrance in it, it has a very light refreshing scent. I’m sensitive to artificial fragrances, so this natural scent doesn’t bother me at all.💛Natural ingredients, no junk.💛Doesn’t make my t-zone more oily. I typically have dry skin but sometimes my t-zone gets oily later in the day. I feel like this keeps my t-zone more balanced. It is a little pricey for a small bottle, but I do love it and will definitely reorder again! Finding a good non-toxic moisturizer that actually works is gold and worth the price!

My go-to moisturizer for the summer
This stuff works insanely well on my combination skin and for my husband’s eczema on his face! Very versatile product with great results! It feels super light in the skin too, which is a great bonus.

Lightweight but not ideal.
I'll start this by saying how much I wanted to LOVE this product. It's scentless, it has so many great ingredients, and it feels REALLY nice and lightweight on the skin, but unfortunately there are also a few issues with it:1.) I keep getting these random, tiny whiteheads. I don't really know what to think of them, but this moisturizer is the only new product so it has to be this that's doing it. I gave it a few days to see if they would let up, but no, it's every single application - I end up with a few around my mouth/chin, nose, even above my eyebrows. It's very weird and obviously not really worth it.2.) It doesn't play nice with other products. If your skin routine involves a toner and serums underneath, you'll struggle with this product; it really just doesn't want to spread out overtop of them. It ends up streaky, with clumps and clusters on the cheeks, for example, that you really can't blend out without pushing hard enough to dislodge the serums underneath. It just seems to want to stick to any other product.3.) It actually increases oil production. The moisturizer is oil-free but for my combination skin, it ends up being counter-intuitive; my t-zone gets WAY oilier with this on than it does without it or with other moisturizers. It's actually very strange and the oil ends up beading up overtop the moisturizer, as if the moisturizer itself were like a layer of plastic over my skin. I don't know how else to describe it.I'm happy for others who have liked it but for me, something about the formula just really doesn't work out. It's a shame because I love the idea of it, but if you have combination/oily skin or wear other products underneath it, I would reconsider this as an option. I have no idea what to think about the whiteheads or what kind of skin would have that reaction but that's something to keep in mind, too.

Finally found my Green Tea based after sun and day cream
I've noticed over the years that my skin reacts very well to sea kelp and green tea. I'm always on the lookout for products that have these as their base ingredients, while providing good value for money, and also contain moisturizing butters or oils. Was curious about this because I definitely also want my day cream to include a large percentage of vitamin c. This particular product also includes vitamin e, as well as licorice extract which I checked and saw was rated as a "best" ingredient on Paula's Choice.Anyway: with Green tea extract as the first ingredient listed after water, followed by Ascorbic Acid, how could I NOT try this? With the caveat that I know ANY green tea extract application usually improves the appearance of my skin - this seriously made me look about four years younger overnight. I'd been between jobs and paychecks and skimping on skin care over the summer. This got me back to a firm and even complexion almost immediately. Will be making this a staple!Lotion is pleasant to use, mild scent, and midweight. I have combination skin with an occasionally oily t-zone. This works just great.

False advertising by leaving crucial information out of description
The description is misleading. I am on a journey to get rid of as much plastic from my life as I can. I chose to replace my current moisturizer - which is in a plastic bottle - with this, as it states it’s plastic free and the pictures show it in what looks like a possibly glass jar. However, this is in a 100% plastic jar, with a plastic liner, and plastic lid. After receiving it, I came back to Amazon to see if I missed something (as I am a firm believer that most issues with purchases are from buyers not reading before buying) and sure enough, there is nothing about it being in a plastic jar anywhere. This product may be great, but it will NOT help me reduce my body’s ingestion of microplastics. I would like a refund as I would not have purchased this had the description been accurate.
