BUMPER FRENZY FAUX LEATHER HEADBOARD brown, 5FT (kingsize)

In two minds after reading reviews of product. Glad I now went ahead and ordered. Actual faux leather really nice, looks real. No creases, cracks. The upright struts are a little flimsy but I used them and they tightened ok. I wanted the headboard to Sit level with the mattress so found the struts a bit short. I was unable to move the bolt higher as there is nothing to fix it to on divan base. That's the beds fault. The bed is a king size sealy posturpeadic. The size of headboard is perfect. Overall very happy, would buy again. I have seen £200 + headboards in shops which are no better than this. Excuse poor photos/bed making skills..... I was rushing.

I bought having read many reviews and must say I am delighted with the quality and robustness for this price. Unlike some I cannot fault the stays which are as good as any and fitted perfectly after drilling holes (necessary to achieve personal height requirement). Yes "penny washers" a must to spread the load for the four bolts supplied. You will also need the bolts that should have been supplied with the divan in the original instance. If you do not have these buy a set of four.

Nice headboard for the money. Having bought a divan base from another company who wanted to charge us a ridiculous amount of money to have a matching headboard I looked to amazon for inspiration. I found this advertised as amazon prime so went for it as knew had amazon guarantee. This was the only thing that was amazon prime as it had over a weeks delivery time. Amazon provided a yodel delivery reference which was a good job as this was the only way I knew when it was going to be delivered by checking regularly. The packaging was barely adequate and the delivery man commented on how many he had to return due to inadequate packaging. It was however undamaged. The struts were easy to fix but I did need to use four large washers as the bolts pressed into the wood. They are very rough but do the job. I decided to fix it to the wall which was easy to fix brackets due to the thick solid wood back of this headboard. I went for the black faux leather finish. It did not seem quite as padded as in the picture but nice anyway. You can see where pieces of padding meet each other underneath the covering. The back of it has a cheap covering stapled on and you will also need a pair of pliers to pull out the staples that attach the corner protection paper. All in all I am pleased but don't expect perfection. Good value for the money.

This bedhead was exactly what I wanted, good to look at, colour perfect.

Excellent bed head, looks so much more expensive than it is. Very good quality, the ones in the bed stores are £80 to £120 very expensive so this is a super alternative if you don’t want to break the bank but you do want a well made, good looking product. This is my second purchase a brown one very nice, my previous one was a black faux leather also very nice. Easy to wipe down with a damp cloth when cleaning etc . Both my teenage sons are pleased with their bed heads!!

I have 3 more of these in different sizes this one is nowhere near as good quality the covering is wrinkled, none of the others are and it came with a small split at one of the top corners. All a bit disappointing after the very high quality of the other 3

This came really well packaged. It was easy to put together. Screws were included to put the wooden fixing legs on. It looks nice and as it’s faux leather can be kept clean with just a damp cloth. Only negative was that I sat in until 8pm on the day it should have arrived and it didn’t get here until 3 days later but that’s the carrier’s fault. At the price it is tremendous

WHY would you believe that one thin layer of polythene could possibly protect a heavy five foot headboard in transit??? It arrived with the polythene torn and score marks along the edge as in the picture. Two requests to CrownbedsUK to ensure that the replacement was properly wrapped fell on deaf ears. Not even the curtesy of a reply. The replacement arrived just as badly wrapped and, of course, also damaged! So straight back. The quality and price looked good, but CrownbedsUK, ZERO stars for customer service.
