Works far better than the solenoid valve alternatives. Also uses less power when fully open and no power when closed.

Tested and works perfectly. Using it for an automated gravity fed irrigation system, automatic close on power removal/failure is a great feature for preventing over watering. Uses virtually zero current when in the open position too.

I got so fed up of having to get out the cab (motorhome) walk round to a locker door, open that then pull a lever - like an old fashioned handbrake - then kneel down on the floor to undo a large black waste water cap to release the grey water tank contents, i looked into an electronic waste water gate that would connect in line with the waster water hose but found they were very expensive, so i purchased this for less than £50 then purchased a few stepper flexi pipes from my local caravan/camping shop - less than £10, fitted this ball valve in line and made a bracket to support it under the van, ran the electrics straight to the battery with an in line fuse and then onto a toggle switch mounted by the driver on the dashboard, i now dont even after to get out my seat to empty the waste tank, for me personally this has been one of many best things ive fitted - along with solar panels etc. . well worth the money and effort to fit it - highly recommended for this use.

Good until it packed up. Used on my campervan to release the grey waste. Was a fairly harsh environment I suppose, but I kept it pretty well protected. Anyway it lasted less than a year, I wouldn’t buy one again.

It did help me to automate the shower hot water as I connected this valve to a smart plug.

~200mA forward current (12.0v) on opening, dropping to a negligible hold current when open. Auto-close is a brilliant feature to simplify wiring. Its been installed on the underside of a van for ~1000 miles now and has survived well so far, its barely protected. Highly recommend.

Working fine

This is the easiest of all similar valves to wire, only needing 12v to open, and closes when power removed. Ideal for irrigation systems that are fed from waterbutt as no matter the pressure a ball valve just works. When opening this has a pleasent "gear" sound so you know it is travelling, could be annoying if you like total peace and quiet but I like it.

Funktionieren prima. Drei dieser Ventile steuern seit drei Jahren meine Gartenbewässerung und es gibt bisher kein Problem. Nach dem ersten Winter arbeiteten sie zunächst etwas ruckelig, das gab' sich aber nach ein paar Tagen. Seitdem lasse ich sie einmal in der Woche auch im Winter öffnen und schließen und alles läuft geschmeidig.
