Getting Your Dog Comfortable In His KennelA bit of effort on your part can go a long way to ensure your dog adjusts well to his new kennel. Taking the time to introduce your dog to life in the kennel will lead to a better experience for both you and your pet. Kennel familiarization may take several days or even weeks, depending on your dog’s age, temperament, and past experiences. It’s important to keep two things in mind while kennel training: The dog kennel should always be associated with something pleasant, and training should take place in a series of small steps. Don’t go too fast! First, introduce your dog to the kennel by placing a favorite toy, blanket or beloved object into the kennel. To encourage your dog to enter the kennel, try dropping some small food treats nearby, then just inside the door, and finally, all the way inside of the kennel. If he isn’t interested in treats, try tossing a favorite toy in the kennel. Don’t expect instant results, this process may take several days. When he enters the kennel, offer enthusiastic verbal praise. Quietly close the gate and secure it. Never slam the gate after your dog enters. He should regard his kennel as a safe place rather than a punitive time-out area. For best results, introduce your pet to his new kennel enclosure for brief periods over time. Stay nearby. Some pets may try to bite or chew the enclosure; some may try to climb out. Your pet may bark or whine. Verbally reassure him. Increase the length of time he is contained until you believe he’s comfortable in his new kennel.Pet toys and other familiar objects can be reassuring to our pet, and help to pass the time while he’s contained. For more information, consult your veterinarian or other pet professional to make your pet’s transition to the kennel as stress-free as possible. Great bang for your buck
I searched for a little while to find a good kennel at a decent price. This was the biggest I could find for the best price. It came in 2 days and was nicely packaged. The instructions were very easy to follow and I found it to be easy to put together (but time consuming). I am a 27 year of female and me and my 70 year old grandpa had it together in 2 hours. The frame itself was put together in about 15 minutes. The time consuming part was unrolling the netting and using the wire ties to fasten it. It was not in the least bit hard, just took awhile to do it properly and get it tight/secured. With that being said, people who reviewed that it was extremely difficult to put up, also stated they did it alone. The instructions clearly state it is a 2 person job. You need someone to hold the mesh roll and unroll a couple of feet and pull it tight and the other person to fasten with the wire ties. I did as the instruction stated and only did about 2-3 fasteners on each side in this method just to secure it and once we were all the way around the kennel we both took a handful of ties and went back around to complete it. The kennel is wobble like others have stated, but not like its going to tip over or snap, its one solid secured piece, but that is why tie down kits were invented. Any structure like this your going to need to tie it down. I did not buy a tie down kit but instead got 2 fence posts, hammered one in the ground on kitty-corner corners and the used extra wire ties to tie the kennel to the fence poles. It worked great. My dog hasn't had any issues with the kennel and seems content with the amount of space. I'd definitely recommend this kennel its certainly the biggest bang for your buck. However be prepared for the set up and have someone there to help you. As I stated it wasn't difficult at all, it was just time consuming because you are given 100 wire ties to fasten the mesh to the frame, and other than the few I saved for my posts, I wanted to be sure I used them all (which ended up being enough to place 1 about every foot on the top and bottom). I only gave it 4 stars because of the amount of time it took to put together.

awlful product / very cheap
This dog kennel arrived quickly. But it was not the one that was shown in the photos. The chain link fence was suppose to be in 2 rolls , but what I received was 1 long roll, and Very Heavy, making it impossible for me to assemble by my self. 2 rolls would have be lighter and much easier to assemble. After unrolling the over 40 long roll of chain link, I found almost all the ends of the chain link were not hooked together. I hook all together and then rolled it back up per the instructions and video. Had a friend help unroll and attach to the frame and found that already most the top ends had come back unhooked from each other. Poor design. Should be made with a permanent attachment or twist so they stay connected. The frame I received, didn't have the build in feet on the bottom as shown in the photos and video, And 2 sections of the frame were bent. Very poor packing protection in the shipping box. The door frame was suppose to be assembled and just needing the chain link installed. What I received, required me to assemble the door frame also. Brand name of the kennel in the photos was totally different than what I received and appears the one I received is of poorer quality. After talking with 4 different amazon customer service people, no one was of any help to fix this problem. Kept telling me to pack it up and return it. They just could not understand that this item is over 100 pounds in very large box and once opened, almost impossible to rebox it and if I could have, packing tape certainly will not secure it. It came with shipping straps around the box and those have to be cut to open it, and without them the box would never be able to be shipped back anywhere. I am really disappointed with this item. Even with a friends help and pulling the chain link as tight as we could and securing it to the frame, its still very wobbly and not secure for most dogs. IF you try to stretch the chain link too much, it bends out of shape very easily. I do not recommend this item to anyone.

Plenty of comfort and room for 2 dogs!
Over-all, I am pleased with my purchase. Do not expect quick and simple installation, but be sure to be prepared for a 2-man job, that may take some frustration moments here and there sorting out any fencing links that are tangled. But, you WILL persevere. The quality of the Kennel is good, and considering that you are working the chain links, the installation isn’t too bad. With in a week of use, a huge wind gust blew the entire kennel over... NO DAMAGE (no dogs were harmed in the the incident). I would highly recommend ground anchors, which we hadn't yet installed... but have now!I would recommend this to a friend or neighbor, and even help them install!

Flimsy.
You have to be willing to purchase an additional $100-150 in C clamps and stakes at your local home improvement store. This is not sturdy enough to hold in any dog bigger than a pug without serious re-enforcement. I put my lab in there to see what would happen and within second he bolted out he door. Which reminds me, after reinforcing the door, you need to buy a better latch to secure the dogs in.

Good for the money
Pretty good buy for the money and what you get. One of the gate post was bent when I opened the box, but I was able to bend it back fairly easily. You can see a crease in the gate where it's been bent, but it functions perfectly. Installation wasn't very difficult at all. I wish the bottom of the frame actually secured vs just sitting in a slot, as this thing can fall apart if you try to move it.The ends of the chain link aren't crimped tight, so it likes to catch on itself and become a tangled up mess. 2 people will make the install go much easier. Plenty of chain link was included, I think I ended up taking out 5-6 links to get a good tight fence.
