I grunted one morning a couple times and a spike came right to me within 20 yards. I let him walk and as he got about 40 yards away I grunted again and he stopped and looked back but didn't see anything and kept walking. I grunted another buck on another day but let him walk also. I think if I would have been using my buck decoy with the rattles and grunt call things would have been different. This works better than any scent stuff I've used. The call is adjustable for different sounds. I kept it on MB (mature buck) but it can be set for a doe bleet, a TB trophy buck and a few others. Be careful when moving the O-ring or you may end up bending your reed like I did. If you do, it will no longer work properly. I ended up buying some 10mm Mylar sheets and cutting a new reed.
