Wholesome Sweeteners 10-Pound Organic Cane Sugar, Fair Trade, Non GMO, Gluten Free, Pure & Vegan, for Baking and Sweetening

I’ve been really happy with this sugar. I use it in my coffee, baking, and especially my homemade kombucha, so I get plenty of use out of it. I like knowing that it’s organic and fair trade, and the taste is really good—clean and not overly processed tasting. The price is great for the quality, too. I’ll be buying this one again.

This is for Wholesome Fair Trade Organic Regenerative granulated sugar. I like that It has less of a molasses flavor than other "raw" and "less refined" sugars so it does not bring a new flavor to what I am using with (typically coffee). It has a very clean and not overpoweringly sweet taste, unlike the common pure white granulated sugars most of us grew up on. It could be a little sweeter and maybe that has something to do with the regenerative farming method. That won't stop me from buying it again, but I might try their similar product that is labeled the same without being "Regenerative" just to compare. I like everything about the product and the company philosophy. They even have a "Source Map" on their website so you know just where they obtain their products. FWIW, I tried another organic sugar from Amazon and was disappointed to find it came from Bangladesh. No disrespect to Bangladesh, but I found online the country is one of the most densely populated per land area, that the quality of organic is questionable because of years of non-organic farming where chemicals may still be present and the proximity to farm land of potential contaminants from current or prior enterprises that migrate through the soil. Wholesome is my new go to for sweeteners!! Highly recommended

I love this cane sugar for several reasons. I'm not sure why I stopped using white sugar. I just wanted to try something different or maybe it was I mistakenly read how they make it white, but after 50 some years of white sugar use It was time for a change.This was not my first choice but when I got to this one I decided it was my last choice. I think I bought those locally. Glad amazon carries it.I like the taste in my coffee which is my main use. I can't really say it is better, but it certainly is not worse than other choices. It seems to dissolve fairly well in coffee, at least it I can say it is not any worse than other sugars i have used. I like the color. The granules are an acceptable size. I have not had a problem with it clumping up like white sugar does sometimes. Overall it just gives me a better feeling.I had used a couple of the 4 pound bags at home. I decide that when I used up my supply of white sugar at the office, I'd start using this sugar there too. The problem I have at the office is I'm limited on space so i didn't want a 4 pound bag or larger on my counter there. I had been using like 1 pound paper cans of white sugar which didn't take up much space. So I decided to try the 1 pound bag in their place. I found on amazon I could by 12 of the 1 pound bags for about the same price (just a little more) as 3 of the 4 pound bags which would be same amount of sugar, so the price is reasonable. After using the 1 pound bags at work I decided that was the way to go for convenience as it ended up easy to handle and pour sugar directly out of the bag. Even though they are zip-lock type bags at work I just use a couple of spring clips to seal one, as it make it easier to get into frequently and I can seal it overnight so no creepy crawlies invade. I found also that when pouring from the one pound bag was easy using one hand to hold the bag and one hand to hold the opening so it forms a small pour spout and then shake the whole bag a little and sugar slides easily out but not too fast as to have too much in my coffee. It also did not make a mess with extra sugar spilling out like those round paper type cans of sugar do as some was always left on the top of the can. I also got good at timing my poor so I don't have to use a spoon either to measure it out so these smaller bags are great, take up less space and are easy to handle. i keep one open and open on standby. when I use up one I carry the empty home as a reminder to bring another full bag.I liked this brand and size of the dozen 1 pound bags that I started a subscribe and save order with this product and don't have to worry about running out and also I can't get this smaller more convenient size locally.

Omg this bag is amazing! I use a lot of sugar for various things butainly for brewing kambucha and making our own ice cream. Going to the store to get sugar is not difficult and if you get store brand not too pricey either but to get organic? Forget about it. This brand o saw the price and the amount and thought, not sure if it was worth it. But not was I wrong. The size of this bag! Forget about it! You get so much bang for your buck her. I would recommend to anyone. It tastes great, the texture is perfect, and the granular level is perfect for what I need it for. The color is off white or a light tan but that's because it's organize and not overly processed. It didn't really smell like anything just that sweet smell. I love it!

Once you snip the top open you will absolutely need a large, airtight food storage container or bucket to store 10 pounds of sugar safely away from ants and moisture.Slight Tint: Because it isn't bleached, it will give stark white frostings or angel food cakes a very subtle off-white cream color.Final Verdict:This bag is an absolute must-buy for avid bakers, homesteaders, or anyone who does a lot of seasonal fruit canning. If you only use a spoonful of sugar a week for coffee, the bag is too large and difficult to store. But for high-volume kitchens, the quality and savings cannot be beaten.

Bit expensive

Update as of February 21.... last two bags had HARD, large lumps of sugar throughout bags, I had to throw them out. I'm guessing they were exposed to moisture somewhere along the way. Will not be buying again.😕,.......Previous 5 star review....Works well in a variety of recipes.Dissolves quickly in liquids etc...with no gritty texture., even in things like whipped cream.Good sized bag for the price.I had tried coconut sugar in baking recently but had to switch back to regular sugar as the taste was not pleasant overall, just too overpowering.I love the idea of cutting down on any type of sugar but not at the expense of taste and results. I’ve been ordering this product for quite some time. It’s always been golden in colour as the packaging suggests. My last order came in the same bag as always stating “MINDFULLY DELICIOUS™️ Organic Golden Sugar.Problem is… it’s white sugar.Makes one question the mindfulness and the organic claim.
