I just ordered this yesterday because I was frustrated with the cheaper version glass top I had purchased previously. I received this glass aquarium cover for my 75 gallon Marineland aquarium today! I am so happy with it! I can’t believe how nice the quality is! It’s nice and thick and fits like a glove. Thank you so much!

These are a BIG DEAL....GREAT Quality for a GREAT Price!!!! I promise this is the best glass canopy for a fish tank I have ever had! All others (big name brands) were really thin pieces of glass that the plastic did not slide on. And their edges were really rough & chipped easily, so I always worried about cutting my hand, which was the biggest reason I could not get the plastic strip on the back. My newest tank is a 75 gallon Marineland set! The glass was so thin with rough, chipped edges that I was never able to get the plastic on the back. So for over a year the back was open causing rapid evaporation & excessive algae as well as salt build up on the tank, walls, & table. I tried to buy another brand glass top, which is when I learned that Marineland is special in that they have their own sizing!!!! I was so mad & unhappy. After a lot of searching I found these, but I was concerned they would be the same way. After reading the reviews, like mine, I thought these were too good to be true, but I reluctantly decided to try them. These tops are thick glass with smooth rounded edges, & the plastic strips slide on part of the way & then I pushed the bottom on with a little force. But I did not worry about it chipping & cutting my hand! They fit the Marineland tank size perfectly as you can see in the pictures! My tank looks so good!!! I highly recommend these especially if you have a Marineland tank!

***If you're wondering, this kit comes with both panels needed for the marineland 75*** Instant 5 stars, fits the marineland 75 gallon perfectly, I spent a good amount of time surfing for a lid that would fit this and finally stumbled on this listing. I ordered 2x by mistake due to misunderstanding of this listing, but that's no big deal. As simple as a return for one of them. I thought that when it stated 2 pieces, it meant one panel, 2 pieces of glass. The glass is smoothed out around the edges, you will have to do some trimming of that back plastic if you want it to fit absolutely flush with the inner lip of the aquarium, but the plastic is very easy to cut. I'm in the middle of ordering a bunch of stuff to get this tank set up which is why it's empty-ish and not on a stand yet. I'm very glad I found the right lid the first time for this setup though, I've seen a lot of people have had an issue with incorrect sizing etc. For this tank with other products. If you have a Dremel, it's really easy to cut out for equipment and If you want a very precise fit around tubing, you could use it as a router to get a nice snug fit round pipes and tubing. I mocked my tubing up for my filter (oase boimaster 2 thermo 250) inside of the tank , slid the canopy on until the plastic part was against the tube, marked the width of the tubing on the edge of the plastic, and then measured the gap between the edge of the plastic and the edge of the tank with it still against my tubing. Then I marked that as the depth for my tube. Since my tubing is rounded, that was the very edge of my curve I needed for my piping, so I cut it out square most of the way, and then used my dremel sanding bit on the lowest setting to get it very snugly fit. This is the best method if you have fish who jump. It also looks extremely clean. As one last side note, it will hold the weight of one good kitty sitting on top of it to keep the fur boy out.

Arrived quickly, on time, and well packaged. Perfect fit on my Marineland 75G tank. It’s hard to find a glass to fit this tank at a reasonable price with a descent fit to the top rim. This one did the trick. It is a two piece system with each half/side resting on the center brace. Each of these sides again is in 2 halves with plastic hinges. Not sure how they will hold up. Time will tell. You can choose to have the large or small opening of the glass to the front or back of the tank. Plastic extenders at rear end of glass that you slip on to the glass. These can be cut to accommodate HOB, air tubing, heater cords … etc. Real easy to slice with a sharp blade. Not sure about the handles though. They are dark in color, and don’t look awesome. Clear handles would have provided a better look. But they do alright. They are stuck on where you choose with the provided 3M tape. For how long I don’t know. I’m always careful to grab the glass as I open it using the handle. Allows plenty of natural light for the plants and fish. Daughters cat enjoys being able to sit up there and peer down through the glass. The Angelfish just can’t figure out why they can’t get a good bite of the cats feet. Overall nice set up, great packaging and a descent price. Handles a slight let down though. Still a 5 star for me.

It arrived without breakage (the slightest chip at edge of hinged area. No biggie) Kudos to delivery service being the package was not marked FRAGILE. 😳 More importantly, the 22.68” fit the width of my 75 gal Marineland tank perfectly. I then just had to trim the back plastic piece. It was very easy. It didn’t occur to me that the overhanging filter would prevent the glass from fitting on the other side. I had to return the exterior filter and get an internal one. Problem solved. I think the lid manufacturers should maybe make the entire back panel plastic to be custom fit around the accessories?? Anyways, I’m happy with the lid. 😉

Arrived today in excellent condition. It fits a Marineland 75 g tank perfectly. My tank has the center brace. This product is exactly the measurements given in the description so measure once measure twice and remember your aquarium must have the center brace or be prepared to create your own. The edges are smooth so no worries about getting fingers nicked or cut. The lids are packaged with sealed bubble wrap bags and fit neatly inside their original box. So excellent packaging from the manufacturer. Good thing because Amazon placed it in a oversized box with no stuffing around it which caused it to slip and slide inside the Amazon box. The glass is clear with no distortions. The plastic strips are fairly easy to put on, measure and cut for filters, cords etc. depending on your needs. Overall an excellent purchase and I am very satisfied.

It's nice but one half of the hinged lid is bent and doesn't fit completely on. But other than that it's great.

This fit my 75 gallon Marineland aquarium perfectly. The glass is thick and much better quality than what came with the aquarium. Glass was packaged in a thick Bubble wrap of sorts. It crossed the country unscathed. Very happy with this purchase.
