Works well... 2 caveats.
Works fine, but the plastic handle on top doesn't extend quite far enough to the spout, so if ya don't let it cool for a minute after boiling water, your thumb gets a bit too warm on the metal part. Also, I noticed that while this kettle holds a lot, refilling past the base of the spout can cause leakage of water while it's boiling. Neither of these issues are a biggie, and I don't regret buying it. Priced well.

A Very Quiet Whistle
The whistle is so subtle that I can be in the same room and not hear it unless I am close to the stove. In order to get a louder whistle (though still not all that loud, I fear) the heat must be at least medium-high, and the kettle only a little over half full. Aside from that shortcoming, it's a nice little tea kettle. Quite sufficient to make a congenial pot of tea for three or four cups.

Effective.
I like that this kettle is sturdy while still having a pleasant design. I wish that the whistle was a bit louder. Another, thing is the handle tends to get very warm so may be a bit uncomfortable to handle for some. Unfortunately, the inside of the kettle has started to darken with use, something I was hoping wouldn't occur. Nobody wants to boil water they are going to intake with a rusty kettle.

Works OK, Stains Easily, Hot Handle, not Recommended on Electric
This product boils water, and the whistle works. The surface stains somewhat easily, but nothing a little Barkeeper's Friend wouldn't fix. More concerning is that the handle gets fairly hot when I'm using it on my gas stove to boil a whole potful of water, which isn't very convenient. I find most of this can be prevented with proper placement that doesn't allow any flames to pass on the sides of the bottom, but it's still a bit of a hassle.Edit to add: This kettle does not have a flat bottom through the whole diameter, which would give you limited contact on any electric stove. This isn't an issue with gas, but I wouldn't recommend using it on anything else.

It’s so so
It does the job . I’ve had it for two months : the shine is gone & it’s starting to rust just a TAD under the lid . I still use it . The whistle still works . Everything is intact .

Good quality definitely sturdy and heavy
Just un boxed it and I am so far very much impressed. I am looking forward to my cup of tea tonight!! The stainless is oh so shiny and it’s definitely got a good weight to it. The sides and the bottom are magnetic if that’s any indicator of the quality of the stainless. I will update after I use it.

Good Kettle & Whistle
I've had it a little over a year with no problems. I had to have a whistle on a kettle and this one is loud enough to be heard from the other room.

Nice pot
Quick and easy. If it doesn't whistle at first, it's because you made the same mistake I did. Ensure the lid is pushed down all the way. You have to push it down, not set it on the pot. If not, too much steam escapes resulting in 0 whistle.
