Smells gorgeous worth it

Excellent value for money: Unbeatable! Thank you Amazon! The appearance of the box is okish for a present , maybe for a very young lady… more like for a teenager. It looks cheap and it feels cheap to the touch. This is not a criticism: it is targeted to a specific audience. Low budget and young. Nothing wrong with that I am just describing what I have received. The glass bottle is also a cheap one, the glass is thick and engraved with a swan, branding/logo of Gloria Vanderbilt. The golden colour cap/cover is made of cheap plastic, not elegant or sophisticated at all, but it’s ok, it has a function and it does it well enough. It arrived earlier than expected. Well protected. The smell… this is tricky… This was a blind buy. I never have used GV perfumes before but one of my grandmothers did and I remember seeing it in her house when I used to visit her. This one has nothing to do with the original/classic scent from my childhood memories but I just wanted to buy a small bottle (30ml maximum) as a tribute to her. In contrast to the original/classic scent, this one is a very cheerful and sweet scent. Perfect for very young ladies in my opinion. I do prefer the original GV. The original is lighter and fresher and for more mature ladies. Still not a scent I could ever wear, not my type. Miss Vanderbilt clearly takes you back a few decades back even if this perfume was launched much later than the original, in 2010, just Crazy… it really belongs to another time. I personally love it and I am enjoying it. Each person skin is different, on my skin it has plenty of projection. Good sillage and a longevity of 8-10 h. Then it starts gradually vanishing from my skin. On my clothes and hair you can smell it for over 24 h. I can’t explain why but this is the case. How does it smell like? It’s warm, feminine, daring, sweet, fruity, creamy… but also you can smell spices and a touch of sandalwood. Top notes: clementine, bergamot, neroli and hawthorn. Middle notes: Ylang-Ylamg, rose, cardamom, tuberose, nutmeg, magnolia and clove. Base notes: Heliotrope, vanilla, musk, sandalwood and tonal bean. How these ingredients mix and results in this sweet/frity/spicy fragrance is a mystery to me. I detect some the notes but not others at all… I do like it and I will buy it again. Next time a bigger bottle. I would recommend it to ladies of all ages. I don’t think it’s suitable for males, far too sweet and heavy in my opinion.

It all began when I bought the GV Miss Vanderbilt deodorant. I wrote a review to say i had been disappointed in the lack of projection from the deodorant. However, I started to notice a lovely delicate smell on my clothes and in the room after I'd sprayed and even longer on my clothes. So, I have completely changed my mind and bought another deodorant and two bottles of the same perfume. I have to say it is a beautiful, everyday light perfume. It is what it is and I think I shall be buying more eventually. If you like strong scents don't go for it but as a light spritz it is very pretty.

I would have appreciated the fragrance more if the smell could last long on me also a little bit more floral would help too. I have to reapply a few times.

I chose this perfume especially for travelling, being of a small size easily able to go into an airport liquids bag when I was taking hand luggage only. This is absolutely ideal, it’s great value for money and it smells gorgeous ! The bottle itself is great, it’s a small flat shape, which then makes it perfect to fit into the liquids bag with all of your other items. Very pleased with this, highly recommended.

My partner thought this fragrance was perfect and she loved it very much and is recommending her friends to buy it as well thanks to Amazon for this product. This product is good value for money the style is perfect and the quality is excellent.

Buonissimo e dura almeno 4 ore, molto meglio di tanti più costosi. Lo ricomprero sicuramente. I vanderbilt sono ottimi oltre a Miss Vanderbilt ho anche Minuit a New York.
