Great boots! Here are my positives: 1. My calves have always been large - 16 1/2 inches in circumference. I was able to easily wear my jeans inside these boots. 2. I ordered a size 8 US and am glad that I did. I feel that the boot (foot area) may be a bit larger than an 8 but that is fine. I plan on putting in an insert (I have plantar fascitis) anyway. The size will also allow me to wear a thicker sock if I choose. 3. The side gusset with strap makes these adjustable. I will say that I didn't need to loosen this hardly at all to accommodate my calf while wearing jeans. I also plan on wearing the boots with leggings, so this will be nice to be able to adjust the strap. 4. Lining! How fantastic that these have a felt like lining. Other boots that I tried are just rubber. 5. Tread on sole. Another plus! I am glad that there is some tread on the bottom to help with wet slick roads and sidewalks. 6. Style - I initially ordered the black, but changed my mind and ordered the leopard print. So glad that I did!!! They are so cute!!! BIG plus is the customer service. As I mentioned, I ordered black. BUT after hitting the order button, had regrets. Immediately emailed the seller (who is in Great Britain). The seller promptly emailed me within 8 hours that it will not be a problem at all to substitute my selection. No need to cancel and reorder. Fantastic!! And lastly - I received the boots in less than 2 weeks (I live in Western Pennsylvania). Very very very happy with my purchase! Yes, the boots did have a rubber 'smell', but this went away after setting them out on my porch for a day. Don't let that deter you from purchasing these boots. I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe, and due to a medical issue ten years ago, my right calf measures 17.5 inches around. I was dying to buy a pair of Hunter boots but couldn't justify the cost. I bought a size 8, and the fit perfectly! I wouldn't say there's tons of room to spare, but they definitely fit, without bunching or hurting my calf, or cutting off circulation. Sadly, I have had to return a number of boots and rarely do I find them in stores that even come close to fitting. "Wide shaft" usually measures 15.5 inches around, which, to me, hardly seems wide at all! How I'd love to have a 15.5 inch calf! :-) In any case, they fit, they're adorable, I've yet to wear them in the rain but they look sturdy and well put together. A bit glossy, which makes them cuter, I feel. Also they look like they'll rinse off nicely with a hose when they get muddy. Shipping was much quicker than expected, even from the UK. I received them in exactly a week, and the estimated receipt date was 5/3. I couldn't track the package, but didn't mind, mostly I was just hoping they'd fit. Bravo to this company! I love my new wellies!

I was very happy with fit, comfort, etc. I wear waterproof boots every day for about one hour in the dog park during the fall and spring. However, these boots started splitting on the inside of the foot by the toes within about 2 months of wearing. I e-mailed the supplier and they very kindly sent me a new pair. This was in November, living in Chicago I was then wearing winter boots and started wearing my new boots in March. Six weeks later, they started splittingin the same place as well as both back seams split. I again e-mailed the supplier and this time I was told that they could not replace or refund after 6 months. Obviously I would not replace these boots but I would've liked a refund. I do not recommend these boots for daily wear as I did walking the dog, remember I only wore them for about one hour each day for 6 weeks. Very inferior quality.

I really like these because they are well made. Pros: I think they'll last me a very long time. They're wide enough in the calf to make pulling them on over my jeans easy which is a major plus for me as I wear them out in the yard and wanted something easy to pull on and off. The Cons: The rise above the foot is too tall making them sloppy to walk in. I suppose this is to allow for heavy socks or plump feet? At any rate I am a petite woman with slender feet and muscular calves so I have to work harder to walk in them. They SMELL like a petroleum product. Of course they are but out of the box they smell like a fresh made set of truck tires that have been warmed up. The off-gassing is excessive. I put mine outside for a long time and they're better but still smell. I would not want to wear them inside at all. These are great for duck hunting but not trecking to your doctor appointment on a snowy day if you catch my drift. There's no arch support.

This is the first time I've ordered shoes without trying them on first. I was a bit nervous, especially since there shipped from Europe, but they're so cute, I had to try. I love these wellies so much, I've been known to wear them even when it's not raining. The length is right on for my size 7. My feet are very narrow, so these boots were a little wide for me. I got some cushioned gel insoles and now they fit perfectly and are extra comfy. I'm tempted to get more in other prints/colors.

Wow! The boots arrived just shy of a week of ordering them which was truly exciting, I could hardly wait till they got here. I ordered them in the black because that goes with everything! 😊 I normally wear a U.S. Size 9 and I like to stick to it just because I've made other mistakes buying a size down or up and then it didn't work...so I'm stuck with them or giving them away. I'm so glad I stuck with my size! Whew! They were just a little bit roomy in the foot ( but no more than any other boot. They are rubber so they are heavier). Boot socks remedied that. I think an additional insole would also do for spring. A size smaller would have been too small. I was a bit disappointed that the buckles on the sides slip when you tighten them, I needed to tighten them about half way. My calves 17" on one leg and 16 1/2" on the other so there is plenty of room to tuck in jeans or wear skinny jeans without them snugging up. The description does say knee high but they are 3" below my knee, however the description does say 14" in length and I do have long legs. So if in doubt, measure! Overall I am really glad I ordered them. They are just as described and are quite beautiful just as in the picture. These will be a staple in my wardrobe for fall, winter and spring, keeping my tootsies warm and dry! With their beautiful sheen they can be worn with cute dresses, skirts, leggings and jeans! I cannot wait for the next rain day!! I hope this was helpful to others. I really think about what I would want to know before making a purchase and the reviews on these boots and about people's experiences with the company that sells them really made my decision easy!!

I wanted a pair of boots that I could use in muck or going out in the world in really bad wet weather. Looked at cheap boots with flashy colors that had calf widths very thin so that pants had to be worn on outside. Which is fine if you're wearing rain, deep water boots to go to the mall but not so helpful if you actually have to do some work in them and don't want your pants getting soaked in 5 inches of standing water. Finally, had to go to manufacturers/distributors from UK to get something that was both stylish and functional. Nice sizing, love the wider adjustable calf so I can tuck in or wear my jeans outside. I was concerned it would take forever to get them since is was being sent from out of the states but shipping was fast it wasn't even a week to get them. I'm really glad I spent $10 more and got a pair of boots that really worked for me! I highly recommend this model for anyone looking for functionality as well as styling. :))

The boots were way too big. I ordered a size US 7 and these boots are definitely more like a size 9 or 10. They also feel like they're very cheaply made and would break easily. I didn't bother returning them cuz it would just cost me more to return them. Not what I expected at all.
