I installed a battery, inverter, and charger in my van for camping power, and up until now my setup had no real safety devices. Using Google AI, I figured out everything I’d need, including this dual fuse block, a shunt, and a cutoff switch. I initially ordered some inferior fuses, returned them, and got high-quality ones that others have tested and recommend. Right now, I have 300A and 100A fuses installed, bus bars, and a secondary fuse block for my DC plug that runs my fridge. This dual fuse block installs directly on the positive post of your battery, and you simply slide the fuses onto the posts (they only go on one way, so pay attention). It has a solid construction, a rubber hood to protect the terminals from anything falling on them, and is more versatile than other fuse blocks I looked at. It’s even rated for marine use, which gives me extra confidence in its durability and safety. The cutoff switch and shunt add extra safety and allow me to monitor and control power more effectively. Using quality fuses is key to staying safe and ensuring everything works properly if there’s ever an issue. This setup has made managing my van’s power system much easier, safer, and more reliable.

This is a very high quality MRBF dual terminal. Both Bay Marine Supply and their competitors Blue Sea are both top quality products. You can definitely see and feel the quality compared to the knock offs that are cheaper. This lets you mount 1 or 2 fuses up to 300 amps (combined for 2 fuse applications) right on the top of your battery. This is the best way to go so that when you get a overload and the fuse blows it protects all your wiring right from the battery. Now the educational side of this review: This NOT A TERMINAL POST! repeat NOT A TERMINAL POST! This does not conduct electricity up the threaded post, it is purposely insulated to not do that UNLESS YOU HAVE A WORKING FUSE INSTALLED! If you are in need of a terminal post on your battery either buy a marine terminal or a military terminal - this is what they are designed for! To buy this as a terminal post and then leave a one star review is completely unfair. It would be like buying a pillow and taking it home and trying to pound nails with it. Then coming back to Amazon and giving the pillow a one star review because it made a lousy hammer. When anyone with half an ounce of common sense knows better. So once again this is not a terminal post it is a high quality Marine Rated Battery Fuse aka MRBF holder. It's very good at what it was designed for.

Installed a handful of these on the batteries on my boat, to protect the wiring (and the boat) from fire caused by short circuits. Very easy to install, and I have better peace of mind about the wiring.

Blue Sea makes some awesome products and their spark resistant fuse blocks are great and incredibly flexible. The small fuses come in many different amp sizes allowing the use on anything including loads over 200 amps.
