I just got back from peru and had the best nescafe instant coffee there. is this coffee the same as what is sold in south america?

I'm not exactly sure. What I can say is that my wife, who lived in Chile for several years and agrees that "Nescafe" instant coffee down there was much better than up in the U.S., seems to feel that the "Nescafe Clasico" is as close to what she remembers as possible and is better than the standard Nescafe offerings in most US grocery stores. I use Nescafe Clasico as my standard morning coffee.

Is this "dark roast" or the "original flavor'?

I think so. There used to be one called suave but, I don't really see it anymore.

A Great Deal!

I think this is the best instant coffee. I use a lot of it, as I'm the only one that drinks coffee (and rarely drink more than a cup at a time), so I hate to dirty up the coffee maker just for one cup. It has a rich taste and I really like it. The price here is MUCH better than at the grocery store!

I love iced coffee in warm weather, even for breakfast. Now I have the perfect instant coffee for it. Nothing bland about this coffee: it can stand up to milk and ice!
