However, this is very well constructed, with heavy-gauge steel (enamel-coated in black) and a very adequate lock. Keys are numbered, so others with a similar box shouldn't be able to get into yours. Springs clips are tight and hold bills nicely in place (note: designed for US bills and may not fit the different sizes of Euros or other currency). Coin tray is firmly attached and pivots up when opened. A very nice way to contain and organize money, and I plan to use this for an upcoming yard sale ... making cash exchanges much easier and faster.
