This is good quality tilapia. Better than my regular grocery store. I can get good tilapia at a local specialty grocery but they are large pieces - I assume the full side so more than our family of two need and one side / quarter is significantly more thin than the rest of the fillet. These are cut consistently so they are the same size and without as much variation in thickness. Every piece seemed the same. They are also individually sealed so you just take out what you need - my husband doesn't eat salmon so he'll grill one of these when he makes me salmon. Tilapia seems a bit maligned as a fish - we like it and it is a super versatile mild white fish. I wish they were an ounce or two smaller - these are two or three bites larger than our appetite (but less waste than our local source).
