Great for stuff that should go in trash but winds up hanging on my fridge
These magnets are great for displaying things that should really go into the garbage but somehow wind up hanging on my fridge. These items include- my teenagersโ C - / D+ graded tests and papers, which are daily reminders of how unintelligent my wifeโs side of the family really is. Christmas cards featuring the very unattractive children of friends and family. Especially those with kids aged 8 through 13, whose faces havenโt quite caught up to their ever growing noses and ears. Who have teeth growing out of every space in their hideous grinning pie holes. One of my least favorite things are those pretentious โ save the date โ wedding invitations from couples, for weddings that I have no intention of attending. If you send me a โsave the dateโ reminder I will make it a point to make plans on that date so I wonโt have to attend your nuptials. Which in all honesty will likely end in divorce. Also, I will not send you a gift. Another thing hanging on the fridge are those stupid family newsletters that older folks like to send out at the end of each year- โHey Aunt Josephine, I donโt care that Billy is still participating in Boy Scouts- isnโt he like fifty years old???? He should not be around young children given his history and all.โ I canโt seem to get off these old peopleโs mailing lists- as hard as I try. My fridge is also full of postcards from friends who I donโt remember or care much about any longer. They go on group tours and visit places that are much too hot and humid for me to have any sort of trip envy about. We also get a lot of thank you cards from ugly brides and their abusive and cheating husbands- you know who you are. Lastly, are my lost hopes and broken dreams- held up by these magnets and placed front and center on the fridge door. This is a memento in the form of a family photo taken at Yosemite- the first and last trip we took as a family - two weeks of pure misery. The photo is from ten years ago when I wasnโt as bald and fat, my kids were respectful and full of promise, and my wife wasnโt constantly nagging or drunk. I keep it hanging on the fridge to remind me that I should have run out on them a long time ago. Honestly, anyone who spends a few minutes with us can see how much my family loathes and hates me. I donโt like them too much either- Iโll be gone go Costa Rica soon enough.

Great for hanging pictures.
I used these to hang a bunch of Polaroid pictures. They worked really great. And I didn't ruin a bunch of pictures by stabbing tacks through them. One magnet was perfect for each picture and since they adhere using a sticker they are easy to remove without damaging your pictures. And I was able to put my picture on a magnetic board, so I didn't damage my wall hanging 70 polaroids with frames or tacks. The magnets themselves are very thin and therefore not extremely strong, as I said they worked well for my purposes, but if you were using them for something heavier you would probably have to use more than one square. You do get plenty of magnets to work with though.

Good for crafts
Don't expect anything other than light weight crafts or small projects. They work great for what they were designed for but don't try to put them on heavy items and expect them to stay. The adhesive part seemed to be ok, just not very strong magnets.

Donโt quite fit Scrabble letters
Bought these for a DIY project to turn Scrabble letters into magnet letters for a cute galvanized farm board for writing messages at my cubicle. I did have to cut these down to fit the tiles, so thatโs the only reason why I took a star off, but the stickiness of them is pretty great and the squares broke off really well. (my coworker turned each of us into Marvel characters with Photoshop, using old Facebook photos. This was the only thing I left behind at my cubicle when I moved spaces at work for my new job role with a different department)

Just what I was looking for
My husband and I are planning a family vacation that will include a 17 hour road trip with a 3 years & 1 year old. I bought these magnets to stick on the back of dollar store puzzle pieces for my oldest to keep himself busy and they are perfect! Snipping then in half is super easy & makes them the perfect size. These aren't super strong, so if you're looking for something that's going to hold the stack of take out menus to the fridge, they won't get the job done, but they're perfect for holding a picture or other lightweight objects and I'm sure they'll be easy for my child to manage while on the road.

Overall, pretty good
Overall, pretty good but the other reviews and the AI summary are correct. It seems to be hit or miss on whether or not they hold. I had some feel like theyโve been demagnetized, but others worked great for what I purchased it for.

Donโt attract each other!
I got these specifically because another reviewer mentioned they use these for magnetic bookmarks. That was exactly what I wanted them for so it was a no brainer. However cut them in half and they repel each other. My bookmarks are oversized so thought Iโll use the whole thing then, but also a no! They repel each other and if you find the polarity to โstickโ they arenโt attracted to each other they just donโt repel. Maybe my brain is fried - had my husband come take a look. He found adhesive side to none adhesive side seems to work ok. Nope that was the adhesive! These show a post card or picture on the fridge and thatโs all theyโre good for. Wish I hadnโt cut some for my project because Iโd return them if I could.

Perfect for what I need them for
I needed magnets to make my magnetic bookmarks for my Etsy shop. I needed some that were thin, but not too thin and strong, but not too strong that it would pull down the book page. These worked perfectly for me. I do have to cut them in 4ths (Iโm obviously not the best at cutting) and theyโre semi easy to cut which is great! They work perfectly for me but I only use them 280 gsm photo paper. I doubt they would work on anything heavier than that. My only complaint is that the adhesion isnโt the best. Itโs not terrible but the back of the photo paper I use is sort of grainy textured and I am able to take the magnets off. They donโt fall off but with enough pressure I can peel them off and not ruin my paper. Though I doubt I would be able to remove them from regular paper.
