I always trust iLuiz so far
I read all reviews concerning positive and negative reviews and I can say that I never had an issue with iLuiz guitar tools. As a satisfied buyer of the Fret Rocker and String Height Gauge Guitar Set Up Tool by iLuiz, I can't praise this tool enough. Its precision in detecting uneven frets has greatly improved the playability of my instruments, and the String Height Gauge simplifies string height adjustments like a breeze. Plus, the durability of this single, multifunctional tool is impressive. What pleasantly surprised me was the thoughtful inclusion of an acoustic string bridge pin puller in the shape of a guitar โ a handy addition for any guitarist. In short, this versatile tool offers significant value, making it a must-have for guitar enthusiasts and luthiers looking for professional-level guitar setups. Say goodbye to fret issues and string height woes โ iLuiz has you covered. I also purchased and I am satisfied with their iLuiz Guitar Neck Notched Straight Edge. Perfectly machined tool to check the straightness of your guitars neck.

Flat and even
After reading reviews saying theirs can come bent or with edges not flat, the first thing I did on receiving mine was check flatness with a machinist's block. Perhaps it's the luck of the draw or others were damaged in shipping, but mine is accurate in that regard. On the other hand, the string height markings are just about impossible to read. I didn't get this for that feature; I already have one of those, so for what I expected to get, this is a good and inexpensive tool.

Not bad for price - a simple modification improved it.
Itโs not bad for $10. The edges on mine were rough from tool marks or whatever was used to cut it so I filed all the edges to smoothen them out and now it works good. Iโm not using the string height gauge so I didnโt care if filing the long edge affected it or not. I only have a few guitars to level the frets so this will work fine. However, if I was going to do that more often Iโd buy the StewMac Fret Rocker.

Fret Rocker AND String Height Gauge
Works exactly as it should, all edges are 100% square and flat. Nice and thick so it doesn't try to bend or wobble at all. Includes string height gauge and some other measuring features on the side.

Handy and quick to use. Should have bought one years ago.

Perfectly Straight and Well Made
Looked at much more expensive fret rockers. The iLuiz works great and has identified several high frets on my telecaster. Was having some issues with notes not ringing out and this helped narrow down the issue.

Flat and level
Cool color but most importantly, it is flat and level. With 4 sides you can always be sure to span 3 frets and rock to see if there's any leveling needed. A really well made tool. Now, it's not as solid or heavy as the Stew Mac version, well no, but for the times I'm going to work on my guitars or check a neck I might want to buy, this is a great addition to my kit!

It works but I would change a couple of things
It works but I would change a couple of things: 1) Since the rocker is thin I find myself having trouble telling if the wobble I'm feeling is because of a high fret or because the rocker is rocking on itself. I think it if was a bit thicker it would remedy this some. 2) The edges seem to be straight but not completely flat. It's almost like the paint is a bit too thick. Again, these are small gripes. For the price it's a good buy. I didn't want to spend a lot on such a simple device.
