Mippo Workout Tops for Women Yoga Tank Athletic Muscle Shirts Tie Back

I love these shirts! I’m not a Lululemon wearing, yoga going gal. I do CrossFit and run but still want to maintain some degree of feminity and these are perfect! I think they’re very flattering for your shoulders and arms. I put one on my Xmas wishlist and loved it so much I bought two more! They’re really soft but not too hot for working out and could also be worn casually for a neutral or athleisure wear style. I think the venting in the back is actually functional and cute and I like the cut of the shirt and the length when down or tied up. I’m between a size small and medium usually (4-6) and usually opt for a medium which is what I bought for these. I think they fit well but a small would fit too just a little tighter. They do not shrink after being washed, if anything they stretch out a little bit with use. It’d be nice if they were a slightly more breathable material for working out but that’s what you get for having them be so cute and wearable outside of the gym too!

UPDATE - January 2022: I'm following up on this review because these are still my holy grail of workout tank tops. However, the cut is no longer quite the same, which is unfortunate. While my shirts from 2018 are still going strong, they are getting tired and I wanted to buy a few more. The newer Mippo tanks have a less length and seem smaller all around. While I can still wear the medium shirts, they are a bit snug and more difficult to tie due to the shortened back. I'm going to order a size large and see how those fit. My recommendation would be to buy your regular size and/or a size up.Love these shirts. I have a few in size medium and one in size small. I attend Orange Theory Fitness, a type of HIIT gym workout. These shirts solve a lot of problems for me:1) This shirt is a full-back tank top. Which I love. I don't like racer-back shirts. I wear the open-back "u-shaped" sports bras, which don't look as cute with racer-back tanks. That style also tends to put my worst bits of back flab on display.2) Ventilation! My back sweats a lot, and I cannot stand heavy workout shirts. The material of these is light, and the mesh provides a lot of air flow, without looking too skimpy.3) The most important - it doesn't ride up when doing floor work (burpees, running man, pikes, etc.)! I was always trying to find shirts that were long and narrow enough and/or constantly had to tuck them in for floor exercises. Very annoying. I tie these shirts in the back and voila! No worries.For what it's worth, I'm a 34D, size small/medium in tops. Both sizes fit. The medium is a little better for length and material around the waist for tying, but the arm holes are larger than I like; the small has smaller arm-hole openings and fits better in that respect. I'll probably order more in size small going forward. As for washing - I wash these like I do all of my workout clothes - one initial cold wash in case of bleeding, then after that it's hot water and a little detergent. No fabric softener and no dryer. These hang dry quickly and you minimize wrinkles that way.

So this shirt is tricky. I'm 5'2 and about 108 lbs right now and I'm not sure bra size because I'm nursing, but prior to nursing, I wore a 34 DD so I'm bigger than that now. I'm a mom and have a mommy pooch and squishy mom body that I like to hide by not wearing skin tight clothing. I went with a medium. After tying the shirt, it hugs the belly. Even loosely tying the back makes it tight in the front. It is a longer shirt so once it's tied, it kind of sits up on top of the hips so you have some extra fabric to work with and you can kind of disguise any areas you don't want on full display. I would suggest sizing up if you're going for a looser fit like I was trying to do. I thought the armpit holes were a little gappy, so you kind of trade off bigger armpit holes with a slightly looser fit. It's a thin soft fabric so every back roll, tummy roll, or love handle is obvious. I bought 3 colors at the same time so I'm feeling pretty invested, but they are cute shirts and comfortable. I haven't worn them out yet, but I'm not sure how the knot in the back will feel while driving/riding in a car!

I bought this in the navy blue color. My screen showed it as more royal but when it came it was a lighter navy blue (not the almost black blue). I’m 5’6” 165 lbs w 34 DD and I got the Large. It fits perfectly. The armpits aren’t low and don’t show my bra. It doesn’t hug my love handles but is not baggy and shapeless either. The material is soft and seems to be quality made (I’ve only washed it once) the mesh on the back is really nice quality too. I absolutely love this shirt. Hopefully it will hold up to what will be lots of wear. It looks good but tied and untied. Neck is high enough that the girls won’t be making any unexpected appearances. I want one in the long sleeve version too now.

I already bought 5 of these and am back for more shirts in additional colors. I'm thin but have a poochy stomach thanks to 3 kids and middle age, and these shirts are perfect for hiding my belly due to the tie in back and the drape of the shirt. Super flattering for those of us with stomachs that aren't flat! I play pickleball in these, run, and lift weights at the gym, and these shirts are great for all of that. Highly recommend! I rarely review my amazon purchases but I love these so much I wanted to add to the positive reviews.Edit: I obviously loved these shirts when I first purchased them but I no longer do. They're extremely wrinkled when they come out of the dryer. I have about 20 similar tanks by other manufacturers and none of them wrinkle like these. I also took these on vacation this summer and couldn't use them at my destination, I would have looked ridiculous with the number of wrinkles. If you don't mind ironing your workout shirts then these may be for you, but otherwise I suggest passing.

I have this tank in several of the different colors! I wore it all over the place in Hawaii and loved how breathable the mesh cut out on the back made the material. It is super stretchy, super comfortable, and it ties at the back which I think makes it look so flattering and form fitting. This is one of my favorite tanks to grab and wear either on a run, hike, or at the gym because of the breathable material!

Love this shirt, love the style and fit! You can wear it open or closed!

This is one of my favorite workout shirts now! The material is great. It was very flattering and hit me at the right spot. The tie in the back is easy and gives it a cute look. I primarily wear this for weightlifting, but if you are doing activities where you lay on the ground, the knot in the back may bother you- but that doesn't affect me. My favorite thing is where it is cut at the armpits/shoulders. A lot of shirts come in too far and make my shoulders look really wide, but this one is wider across the top. So flattering! Love the details and will purchase more.
