I decided to upgrade a cabinet like this in my living room. I want it to store books and what not but also hold some things on top. The cabinet is ok. The directions were not great but I was still able to complete it on my own. My biggest complaint is that it damages and scratches beyond easily. I literally slid a book in the shelf and it scratched it. It also dents very easily. It looks nice but if I could go back I would not choose it due to the ease of it being damaged. My plan is to add some stickable wallpaper on some of it to add color but to also help protect it and hide the imperfections.

The cabinet is very delicate and beautiful, and the color is nice as well. It is suitable for office use. Be careful during installation, especially with the front and back positions of some panels. Don't install them upside - down.
