How long does it last once applied?

Hi, it really depends how often you wash your hair. It lasted two months for me, as I don’t wash my hair every day.

How do you use it? What do you mix it with?

I mix the Henna with freshly squeezed lemon juice ana a little water if it’s still too thick after the lemon juice. I use old (big) yogurt pots or a plastic bowl. Then I cover the mixture with cling film and leave it in a warm place over night to develop (or approx 24 hours). It will change colour and that’s when you know it’s ready to use. If you want to add the Indigo (for black/ or darker brown hair) then mix with water and add to the Henna (after the Henna has had the time to develop). Hope this helps

How frequently can the henna & indigo mix be used on natural afro hair?

I have afro hair and I use henna around once every 4 to 6 weeks. It strengthen the hair but you'll need to do a lot of deep conditioning after henna treatment as hair feels really stiff due to the protein.

Anyone can use it. However, I found this very messy and it dries out the hair. The blue dye stains the scalp. Your scalp will look darker after application. It takes numerous washes to get your scalp adequately clear. Personally I did not repeat this again on my hair. I recently bought dark & lovely dye from Amazon. It was great.
