ZIWI Peak Wet Cat Food – All Natural, High Protein, Grain Free, Limited Ingredient, with Superfoods (Chicken, Case of 12, 6.5oz Cans)

High quality cat food for cats that need protein, limited ingredients, and grain free diets. My cat enjoys this food and meows for it every morning. It makes her so happy. Her coat is bright and healthy and she doesn't throw it up or have digestive issues. I give her this food every day along with her dry food. Food does not smell bad, and it does not make the cat or her poop smell either.

My cat loves this food. It's expensive but worth it.

Let me start by saying I love and adore my cat. Found her as a tiny kitty, figure her mother was either feral or darn near close to and either passed or left my baby girl on side of road. Who knew a rough start would make such a snuggly cat. Anyways, my girl is now four and eats as if she's never had food before. Sometimes going as far as grabbing the pizza off a plate as we eat or the bread off the counter (which now is behind closed doors). She's been a highly motivated food thief. Have used a few other canned foods over the last few years but she usually has some kind of reaction. Nothing horrible but enough for me to keep searching for something that will work for us. This Ziwi chicken has been amazing. My baby girl is healthy, happy, and slightly addicted to hearing the can open every morning. The bread is safe from being dragged off and the occasional pizza hasn't caused dinner to turn into a contact sport. Win-win. Think she's actually mad didn't give her whole thing but she's little so only gets a half a can. BUT this product is beyond AMAZING!!! She's healthy, all issues vanished, happy, and worth every painful payment. Wish this was a bit cheaper but worth the extra. The ingredients I know, which is kinda cool. If paying twenty more per pack lets her be running around and playing like a kitten and beyond healthy just take my money. If your cat has allergies or is picky then I'd say get a few cans and try since really can't go wrong with this company. My dogs are on Ziwi and look great and are healthy. I am a believer in feeding good stuff and see the results. Saves me having to cook and grind their food myself. Have I mentioned I love this company and food? No? Well get a protein that works for your cat and see the results. Love, Love, LOVE.

I have fed my cat Ziwi Peak for years; recently 7 mm bones in the food injured my cat. After eating, my cat vomited up his food which surprised me because this had never happened before. As I was cleaning up the vomit, I noticed small pieces of bone in the food. I pulled out 6 small bones, two of which were 7 mm long and 4 of which were 2-5 mm long. My cat stopped eating and drinking after that so I took him to a Pet Emergency Clinic . The vets at the clinic told me that the bones were too large to be in cat food, and that the bones had caused injury to my cat's digestive system. The vets were concerned that a bacterial infection could occur due to the injured tissue, and my cat started antibiotics. It has been 4 days now, and my cat is still barely eating or drinking. I knew that Ziwi Peak includes ground bone in the food, but these pieces are too large. I am wondering if there have been changes made in the production of the food since Ziwi Peak was sold to a China based private equity firm in late 2021.

This is a really great product, but all 5 of my cats stopped eating it after a few months, preferring more stinky meats, like lamb. Between that and the cost, I give it 4 stars.

My Maine Coon kitten has been eating this food, and he likes the chicken flavor the best. Lately, I’ve noticed that there are some bones in the cans. My older Maine Coons eat the rabbit and lamb recipes. I knew there have always been bones in the cans, though. This food is still produced in New Zealand under New Zealand regulations, so the change in ownership has nothing to do with the quality of the food. It is still a high-quality food, and I think it’s better than most canned foods on the market. However, be careful with the bones. I always check the food before I feed it to my cats.

I’ve been feeding my cats ZIWI Peak Chicken Recipe for about five years now, and they love it. Every single one of my cats goes crazy for the chicken flavor, which is awesome because some of them can be super picky. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but it’s totally worth it. The quality is top-notch, and knowing my cats are eating something so good for them? Definitely worth the splurge. If you want a high-quality food that your cats will actually enjoy, this one’s a solid choice.

If there’s one thing me and all my cats can agree on, it’s that we all love Ziwi products.💕 I give my cats basically the whole Ziwi line, from every flavors of canned food to their kibbles to treats, and they haven’t turn their snobbish noses to any of them!!! My fellow cat parents will understand how rare this is, and no, I’m not one of those cat moms who got lucky and adopted chill cats who’ll eat whatever. My cats are the pickiest, snobbiest, spoilest of all cats when it come to their food. I’m also extremely picky with ingredients when it comes to food for my fur babies. 80% of their diet is raw, pasture raised and/or organic, meat. I use Ziwi canned food to alternate when they get sick of raw meat or when I’m in a rush. Of all the canned cat food I’ve researched, Ziwi has the absolute best source of ingredients. All their meat are free range from NZ, made in small batch with no harmful chemical additives or fillers. The chicken flavor is also their most favorite out of all the flavors. Lamb would be second, I think. They were obsessed with the lamb/mackerel for a few months, but then they over did it and are now boycotting that flavor for a while. 😅 So.. if you want the absolute best (canned food) for your cats, Ziwi is definitely the way to go.

I STARTED MY YOUNG 4 YEAR OLD VIRGIN QUEEN ON THIS WET CAT FOOD, CHICKEN, A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO AFTER A GREAT DEAL OF RESEARCH. ALTHOUGH SHE IS IN GOOD HEALT, I WANTED TO IMPROVE ON HER CONDITION BEFORE DECIDING IF SHE SHOULD BE BRED FOR THE FIRST TIME. NOT EASY FOR ME AS I AM A SENIOR ON A VERY SMALL PENTION AND I HAD TO CUT MY OWN DIET IN ORDER TO IMPROVE HER'S. WAS IT WORTH IT YES THIS IS A VERY GOOD FOOD IN EVERY WAY, AND LIL MISS FUSSY PANTS LOVES IT. EVERY SMALL ISSUE I HAD HAVE ALL BEEN ELIMINATED, PERFECT, EXCEPT IT IS NOW AND FOR A MONTH UNAVAILABLE, ARE YOU KIDDING...I'VE TRYED LAMB SHE EATS IT BUT NOT LOVEING IT AND THE SMALLER CANS OF CHICKEN JUST ARE NOT THE SAME, THEY SEEM TO BE LESS MOIST. IM NOT SURE WHAT GOING ON I WILL TRY ONE MORE CASE OF SMALL CANS BUT I SURE HOPE THIS BECOMES AVAILABLE AGAIN SOON AS ITS VERY HARD TO JUSTIFY THE COST IF THE QUALITY IS NOT THE SAME.
