This music book is amazing! Anyone who is a trombone player and likes star wars won't be able to stop playing these tunes. The cd enables you to play with a backing track which makes the experience a whole lot better and it also has a demo so that you can listen to how the tune's supposed to be played. Each song has it's own difficulty level and provides new challenges that improve the skill and quality at which you're able to play your instrument. It's great to be able to relive my star wars adventures through my trombone and work towards perfecting one piece knowing that another, even more exiting one lies in store for me on the next page. Thank you George Lucas for creating star wars and a very big thank you to John Williams for creating such beautiful music for the movies and putting them into a solo book for trombone so I can finally play them myself. Any trombonist of any age will enjoy working on perfecting these tunes even if they're not a fan of star wars. I definitely recommend buying this book as I assure you it will be the best decision you'll ever make.

My wife was kind enough to get me a trombone as a birthday present - one of the instruments I played back in high school, and one of my favorites. After getting back in practice on the basic playing, I wanted to get back in practice on reading sheet music. What music is more fun and recognizable than Star Wars? This has pieces of varying difficulty... it would be excellent to further fire up a kid's interest in their new instrument, giving them fun and recognizable music, or like in my case, adults getting back into an old instrument.

100% Legit sheet music in good quality. All pieces only have one part so if you are just beginning you may have a hard time playing certain pieces rang wise. Very fun to play and a great selection of music.

Great book, although it’s definitely intermediate level music. I bought it for my son who is a second year trombone student, but he will need to work up to it over the next year or two.

Listening to my son learn Star Wars songs through social distancing... Such a nice thing for him to work while being cooped up a lot.

I bought this for my son, who plays the trumpet. He loves this book - all of the songs are familiar, so he can challenge himself a little but all the while know what the song is supposed to sound like.

Absolutely a blast to play, and great for sight reading. I run the CD off my MacBook and through my Yamaha Silent Brass. It helps build your chops, pitching/note focus, rhythms. Highly recommend.

I'm an intermediate, adult-aged Trumpet player and I get so much pleasure playing from this book! The American "Level 2-3" rating is somewhere around UK Grade 5-6 although there are certainly a range of difficulties throughout the book (with difficult high/low notes covered by an easier alternative note, which is what is played on the demo) - there's an interesting range of time-signatures including "The Arena" which is rhythmically very tricky and frequently changes time, also "Battle of the Heroes" which not only alternates mainly between 3/2 and 2/2 time but also gives a good workout on the upper register. The volume level on the CD is unfortunately quite low, so compared to my other play-along books, I really have to crank the volume up - This may be a problem if you're using a small low-powered system. The backing tracks are synthesised but done to a pretty high standard. Most of the pieces were originally for other instruments but have been well adapted for Trumpet - I'm guessing that in order to make the key signatures a bit easier, some pieces have been transposed from their original key. 'Battle of the Heroes' is in the original key so I sometimes play along with the real piece although there is a longer gap in the original where you find a 5 bar rest noted in this book. Ironically, the pieces I've found that I play the least are the best known ones.

Star Warsの名曲が気軽に演奏できます。ピアノ譜つきの方が良かったかもしれませんな、と思い星を１つ減らしてますが、満足しています。私にはちょうど良いですが、上級者には物足りないかも知れません。

Written so simplified that some of the high notes were changed in the melody making it sound strange. Back ground tracks were kind of cheezy too. I had hoped that the integration between the different instruments, trumpet, sax, violin with be more harmonic, not just a copy of the same melody line.
