Bandai S.H. Figuarts Batman The Dark Knight

Yet another fantastic release from Bandai through their S.H. Figuarts line. This time we get DC's Batman from the 2nd installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, The Dark knight. After getting so many Marvel and Star Wars Figuarts (which I love) it was nice to get a DC character, and nice to get one not from the newer DCEU films. I wasn't a fan of Batman's suit in Batman Begins, his suit in The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises were much better so I'm glad Bandai stared here. It kinda sucks the sticky bomb gun doesn't come apart and store onto Batman's belt from the scene in China when Batman infiltrates LSI Holdings. But that is a small gripe, I love that we even get the sticky bomb gun (though you can't remove Batman's cape so you really can't recreate those scenes anyways) and it fits well in his hands, as does the grapnel gun. I also really love that we get two options for the Batarangs, you can place one in between his fingers or use the other hands and have him hold them with his finger and thumb to change up how he's throwing them, just adds to the dynamic posing options. As does the wires in the cape, there are 2 on either sides of the edges, and 2 closer in the middle so you can get some good range and poses out of the cape. Unfortunately because of the wire placement and the fact that they used flat wires instead of round wires, poseability is limited. You won't really be able to get the cape to lay flat, it's always kinda in action. But, the material soft goods used and the fact that there are wires just makes it better than it could have been so I'm pretty pleased with the end result .Certain't better than when they do plastic capes, I'm looking at you Thor and Doctor Strange SH Figuarts!The articulation, sculpt and paint applications are great. No bleeding on the gold bits of the belt or on the guns, the faces on both heads were printed well, nor missed or crossed eyes. The different shades of black and gun metal grey on the suit looks great, the joints are nice and tight, especially at the elbows on mine, and the hips as usual are the most loose of the joints but still tight enough. I had a lot of fun putting this Batman on an SH Figuarts pose stand and trying different poses for him, pretty easy to do. As always I'm pleased with what Bandai has accomplished here in terms of source accuracy, posing options and joint engineering, accessories, even packaging. They just continue to produce great figures and now that Amazon is carrying so many of them directly through Bandai, they're a lot cheaper than they were the last few years. If you love Batman, or loved Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight, or S.H Figuarts figures, this is a must have. This is so much better than the MAFEX 1.0 or 2.0 Dark Knight, this is the definitive Dark Knight action figure in this 1/12 scale and comes FULLY APPROVED.

It's Baleman! No really this is a decent figure. Great articulation. The cloth cape with posing wires is gorgeous and really makes the figure. The figure has some great accessories. Mixed assortment of hands and weapons. Heck the batarangs are so tiny as to be tough to work with.The negatives are that it is the Baleman suit, which is one of the duller Bat Suits. And of them it is the Dark Knight one, which has that really awful cowl. Which does this figures head and expression no favors.One of the better Bat Man figures. Better and less fragile and flaky then the Mafex variants.

I just came across this guy as I was browsing for a Batman figure for my birthday. I’m more a fan of the Keaton Batman, but I’m not disappointed with this figure at all. It looks just like Christian Bale and exactly as it did in the movie. Comes with cool accessories and the suit looks amazing. Only thing that annoys me is his shoulder pads as if you move his arms to high they pop off, but they’re easy to get back on. His hands and head are easy to change as well and his articulation is great. For sure happy I got this and if you’re looking to get this guy then I say do it before his price shoots back up. All in all it’s a great figure and is the best for any Bale Batman fan. I give it a 9.5 out of 10.

This is a VERY COOL Batman from the Dark Knight series. The accessories I give a 8 out of 10 only because it didn't come with a unmasked Bale and the other headsculpt with mouth open looks a bit weird. I like the 5 types of optional left and right hands for posses, the grapnel gun, sticky bomb gun and 2 cool batarangs. The best part is the cape its really nice. The cape allows Batman to assume he's gliding with his cape outstretched and the wiring material makes it easy to pose as if the wind is making his cape flap open in the air. The stupid shoulder armor keeps popping out when I stretch his arms too far up but it attaches back on again easily. Figure looks and details are really nice and very close to Nolan's Film. So I give it an 8 would of given it a 9/9.5 but the shoulder armor is a bit annoying. Bought on Amazon for $45 on sale. worth it? YES!

This figure is just gorgeous, the articulation is great, it moves very well and it’s very posable, the cape is also very good compared to other SH Figuarts figures and every detail about the suit resembles the film, it comes with a good amount of accessories and I was very lucky to have purchased it when it was much cheaper than it is now, but overall it’s a great figure.

Was a bit smaller than i assumed but that was no problem. Fit on my shelf across from my Heath Ledger Joker figure just fine. Love all the options I have with the attachments and how posable it is. Also I was just skeptical of how lifelike it looked in the pictures but I was pleasantly surprised to find it came just as pictured. Definitely Christian Bale. This is a great piece to commemorate my favorite movie. Will definitely look for different figures from this brand in the future.

I will admit I wasn't going to buy this because of the price. Then in a fit of having a bad day rage I did anyway. My tiny nitpick is that the shoulder pauldrons tend to fall off. It's annoying. But the majesty! This cape is not like your normal cloth capes--it has boning in it to make it rigid just like the film cape. And it's glorious. Except when trying to stand him up, then it gets in the way a bit. Haven't figured out the trick just yet. Comes with two heads (because sure, why not?), two guns, and Batarangs. Oh, another nitpick: while the Figuarts Han Solo has a removable holster for his blaster, the holster for the guns are not. So this large belt attachment permanently hangs there. But overall, this Batfan is happy.

I am a big batman fan so i had to get this figure.The dark knight is my favorite version of the batman and the likeness to christian bale is excellent.He is well made sturdy and poseable the cape is good it as wire sewn in to pose that as well.In all he is about 6 inches tall is very detailed and as a second head and a grappling gun in the box.I would say it is not suitable for very young children because of some small parts.To other similar figures it is miles ahead Tamashii Nations have done a great job.To some up i think hes the nuts.

Riproduce fedelmente il Batman visto nel film The dark Knight, il modellino è curatissimo in ogni dettaglio ed è altamente snodabile, il ché permette praticamente qualsiasi tipo di posa. Consigliato ad occhi chiusi a tutti i fan.
