Its just, perfect.
For reference, i upgraded from the standard intuos tablet. I also refunded a screen tablet a couple days ago and got this one instead. I refunded the screen tablet, which was much more expensive, because my monitor screen has MUCH better picture/color, (and i can not afford one with good picture.) This tablet is perfect. first, it's only 1 wire, and comes with anddroid/type c adapters. it also comes with an artist glove (its a little tight on my hand, i have big hands.) and an optional screen to go over the tablet. it makes the tablet feel more like paper. (as a side note, scratches on a tablet is normal, I play osu, I notice every difference in my consistency, i say this because people worry about scratching tooo much, the scratches are much too small to effect consistency, it happens when the pen nib gets sharp, just replace your nibs.) (also, I put a very very small amount of synthetic lubricant on a cloth and applied a very (VERY) thin layer to my tablet, it makes the surface extremely soft/smooth. and prolongs the life span of the plastic, (dry plastic cracks yo!) synthetic lubricant is used for moving parts, which is why it allows the pen to glide better, without making things tooo slippery. I get off topic..heh. this tablet is plug and play, but do yourself a favor and just get the drivers, takes just a second, it will allow you to customize the buttons. 10 buttons altogether. including the 2 pen buttons. much better than intuos 6 buttons. the sensitivity/pressure is much more consistent than my intuos. the wide drawing area made my work soo much easier. there isnt really much else to say about the tablet itself, other than it works very consistently. the main point of this tablet is, its bigger and easier. (people complaining about bigger arm movements need to excercise!! lol...i dont get tired at all but im also incredibly athletic) i feel more free with a bigger tablet being able to use my whole arm instead of just my wrist. the elbow is important for drawing smoother lines. the price is phenomenal. 60$ for an UPGRADE from a more expensive wacom tablet ?!??!?!?! wat. The other reviews had issues of theirs breaking, but, you can easily get a non faulty one to replace it for free. it happens with tech manufacturing so dont worry. mine didnt break, and i will update if something happens.

A fantastic tablet especially at this price point. Linux support out of the box too!
A fantastic tablet, especially in its budget range! It's easy to see how so many people agree this is the tablet to beat for the price you pay! It was extremely easy to set up, requiring next to no setup at all on Linux to get started. I find this tablet very comfortable to use. The size is also ideal for how I typically draw, allowing full range of motion that I need. I am confident as I continue to familiarize myself with the controls and features of this tablet, I will only grow more impressed! I especially appreciate the care given to the Linux creative community and cannot recommend this enough!

Great entry level tablet
Let me start off by saying that this tablet is amazing. The amount of "fluidity" is amazing. I was truly surprised on hiw this compares to a Bamboo. Having said that, there are a few issues. Lets start off with the fact that I purchased this for my wife for Christmas 2020. She was truly shocked on how many programs this could be used for, and even more surprised that it could be used with not just her PC, but also her Android devices too. Thats where the first issue comes in. It doesnt actually work with her Galaxy S10E. Its supposed to, but even with using the suggested apps, it doesnt do anything. Nonexistent. The device just cannot be used with this device, despite it using a higher Android version than its recommended specifications. On the PC, however, that is a totally different story. On the PC, a Dell Inspiron 14, running Windows 10, the tablet performs well above expectations. Using PhotoShop to add color, shadows, highlights, imperfections, and so on to her creations is a breeze. The feedback she gets is something she brings up almost everyday. She loves how it feels like shes actually using paper, pencils, pens, and every other traditional tool when it comes to drawing. So the TD;DR (or Too Long Didn't Read) version is this: the tablet is awesome. A cheaper tablet with the same capabilities as some of the bigger names. Just dont expect it to work on your Android device. In fact, dont buy this for your Android device. Just use it for your PC or Mac.

Comparison Review between XP-Pen Deco01 v2 and Huion H1060P
I'm writing this review because I wish there was one like it when I was agonizing over what my first drawing tablet would be. I've mostly used an XP-Pen deco 01 v1 for many years and it was fine, but when it broke (more on that below), I really wanted to try a Huion since they have such good reviews. Huion vs Xp-Pen This is a comparison between the Xp-Pen Deco 01 (v2) and the Huion Inspiroy H1060P. They both have nearly identical price points and specs. I got both on discounts for around $50 on average. I am not a professional artist, but I do draw a lot (several hundred hours on my tablet) and have been paid for my work, but I'm not as skilled as professionals. I mostly do character sketches and inking comic-style. For my style and what I need, both tablets are great. They are very precise and allow me to execute and get the end result that I want. Pen pressure ability is the same between the two, I can make clean, tapered strokes with each just fine. The Huion is set to a "harder" pressure than the Xp-Pen, and while both tablet drivers allow changing pressure curves, the Huion minimal is "harder" than the XP-Pen. All-in-all I'd say aside from the pressure, they perform identical and I've heard they they both use the same underlying hardware (unconfirmed by me), this makes sense if true. Personally I like to use a lighter touch when drawing so I prefer the XP-Pen, which also has a much lower 'activation pressure' that the tablet recognizes before drawing pixels. With the XP-Pen, if you are touching the tablet, it's making a stroke. The Huion on the other hand requires a little pressure before it starts making a stroke. So you can lightly stroke the tablet and nothing will happen until you put enough pressure down for it to activate. Drivers: Unfortunately the Huion driver does not offer the option of changing the activation pressure of the tablet, just adjustment of the pressure curve (how the tablet interprets pressure after activation pressure has been reached). I don't believe it can be fixed or adjusted via drawing software either, though I think some drawing software (Photoshop, Krita, Corel, etc) might allow you to adjust your tablet to have a higher activation pressure if you want it (just not lower). Aside from that, the Huion drivers work better with my drawing software (Krita) - by this I mean they are bug free and even work properly if I disconnect and reconnect the tablet while Krita is open. The XP-Pen drivers are a little more buggy - they often don't reconnect properly when I disconnect/reconnect the tablet - the cursor position is fine, but the pressure will not be recognized by my computer until I exit Krita or sometimes I have to reboot the machine. There are other odd bugs like the cursor being trapped in a section of my monitor screen. This happens infrequently, but it does happen and its quite annoying. Pens: Both pens are nice and the new pen that comes with the v2 Deco is much better than the v1 one. The Huion pen is slightly better than both, a little heavier and it just feels a bit nicer/grippier in the hand Physical tablet: The XP-Pen is smaller and lighter than the Huion, but with the same drawing surface size. This is nice for travel and also allows you to place your computer about an inch closer when drawing. The Huion has 12 buttons to XP-Pen's 8. The buttons feel fine on both, I never had a button fail on my v1 Deco01. I did have a problem with the USB port however. My Deco01 v1 broke because when plugged into the included L-Shaped cable connector, it's easy to put up/down pressure on it which can cause damage. Looking at it now, it's possible that pressure is being placed on the USB port unless maybe your table is perfectly flat, but even then it might have slight pressure. I'm going to just use a regular USB-C connector for my new one. I should note that the tablet did not break during normal use, I had the cable plugged in while I had it stuffed in my backpack and it must have been knocked or subjected to sideways pressure which caused damage to the port. Make sure to disconnect it before putting it anywhere! Summary points: Huion + Better drivers (though it doesn't allow you to set a minimum pressure). More stable, interacts with Krita better + Better pen + More buttons - Larger, slightly more heavy XPPen + Smaller, but same active drawing space, better if table space is a premium, better for travel + Like that it has much lower activation threshold + Includes drawing glove, nice touch - USB port prone to breaking with included cable (unplug it when not in use!) Hope this helps!

Fantastic tablet! Works great on Linux!
Works out of the box on Linux but if you want to customize the aux buttons on the tablet then you need the OpenTabletDriver and daemon. This is so much better than the ultra cheap one I had before that made me not want to learn to draw. For a beginner just learning to draw I thought it would be tough to look at a screen and use like the cheap one was but this feels very nice and is super accurate. Glad I decided to buy this on a whim and give drawing another chance!

Fantastic for Virtual Teaching
I was completely ignorant when I bought this product back in July after our district announced we would continue virtual teaching in August. I can operate the tech my elementary school provides, but I don't have a great background in new things. I knew I'd probably need to write while teaching so I bought this pen. Here's what I learned that could be helpful to other teachers like me who need this product: First, you need to be utilizing software that normally allows you to write. I didn't understand this so I almost packaged this item up & returned it. I held onto it for several days while I tried to research & play around with it. I couldn't seem to make it work. I was completely ignorant in this idea. Thank goodness I did not return it! So, Google Slides is a no-go as far as writing. I believe one of the reviews here at Amazon mention you can use it with Slides. Well, you don't normally write on slides so you can't write with this pen either. You must have software which includes a writing pen. My most used pieces of software which don't require me to pay anything are: Google Jamboard & Promethean Board software (ActivInspire is a FREE download for the basics). The ActivInspire software allows me to upload an entire pdf or pick certain pages of a pdf for the curriculum my school has already purchased. Then I can write & highlight directly on the pdfs using the XP Pen. I can present these things during my Zoom or Google Meet so my kids can see me writing using the XP Pen. Whiteboardfi is a free website which allows you to write as well. Then you can push the board out to the students repeatedly with new math problems, etc on it, over & over in seconds. Hint...if your kids don't have access to fancy tech, keep whatever you give the kids HUGE so they can easily manipulate the touchpad on their end to write on your math problems. My third graders have become pros at using their touchpad, as long as I keep my writing LARGE. I can write neatly & push things out repeatedly. I can also demonstrate easily with this XP Pen. Finally, I've seen some reviews of other teachers having a hard time writing with the XP Pen because you can't see as you write, as you can only see on your screen so it's a bit strange at first. After a number of sessions using the XP Pen, I quickly learned to write pretty well for what I need. I mainly use it to highlight text during reading instruction or to write/ draw math problems. I have decided to use the typing tool on my software when I need to write sentences onto small lines on an uploaded pdf. It's just easier for the kids to read it on their end. This was a fantastic purchase at a good price. I know there is a competing "name brand" for a lot more money, but as an elementary school teacher forced to teach virtually, this tool is perfect for my needs. I use it every single day to teach math and reading. I can't imagine not having it. After 3 months of use, I've had zero problems with it.

Beginner to graphic design - it checked all my boxes!!
This was my first time buying a graphics tablet as someone who recently got into graphic design. I've been into photography for a while and am very familiar with photoshop, so I was looking for something that would pair nicely with the software and be easy to use for beginners. Without being educated on anything graphic design related, I did extensive research into what to look for in a graphics tablet. I wanted to buy something rather cheap, but of good quality (which can be hard to come by these days). I considered getting a Wacom since that's what a lot of websites suggested, but the sizes and reliability didn't really do it for me. Then I came upon this beauty and it checked all my boxes. I've had the tablet for at least a month now and have had no issues whatsoever. No lag between the pen and the computer, no problems with the shortcut keys. That being said, I can't speak about their customer service quality since I've never had to use it. I like the large drawing space provided which gives plenty of room to move about and position my hand. That does however make it less portable, but I personally wasn't looking for something travel-sized. It's very easy to set up and the software for the tablet, shortcut keys, and pen buttons is pretty easy to use and allows for a lot of customizability. I don't really use the shortcut keys that often (mostly because the work I do makes it easier to keep a hand on the keyboard of my laptop) but the placement of them on the tablet is fine. The ones on the pen aren't particularly convenient, but I don't really use them anyways. The accessories provided are great as well. The pen stand holds the pen upright perfectly and holds the extra nibs in the base. My nib, after a month of use, is beginning to wear down, but I haven't change it yet. There are about ten extra nibs provided and it's extremely easy to switch them out. I wasn't anticipating using the graphics glove, but I'm really glad they included one because it makes sliding my hand around on the tablet way easier than when I'm not wearing it. I didn't put the protective plastic on the tablet (mostly so that I wouldn't get air bubbles and as to not take away from its sleek appearance), but any scratches from the pen nib are basically undetectable and don't seem to be damaging the tablet at all. Also included are two... USB connecter ports? That's not the technical term for them. The tablet, as far as I know, does have Bluetooth but I don't trust it so I've connected it to my laptop via the USB cord. The connectors allow for the tablet to be plugged in via Thunderbolt or Android and both work just fine. (I don't own an Android phone so I can't speak about its compatibility with that) All around a great tablet and for a decent price. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The pen acts as a replacement for a mouse and is 100% compatible with photoshop. Have had no issues at all, great for beginners, love it so much!

Linux user, this tablet works but not fully
Linux and long-time tablet user here to give others some details before they purchase. I've had this tablet for a month now and have used it basically all-day, every day. PROS: * Very good looking tablet * Very slim * Excellent dimensions for the active area size * Brilliant sideways micro-usb that could be replaced if needed * The price * Packaging was very nice * LEDs light up to show the active area CONS: * Driver support is not quite there. Don't let the Answers section fool you * Buttons on the stylus don't work and cannot be programmed (though bottom thumb button seems to function as Click) * Buttons on the pad do work, but you cannot assign them at will. You have to experiment to see what they do * Manufacturer states that Linux not supported by default, but a beta version is available * Occasional ~1s delay when returning the stylus to proximity of the pad * Pad scratches rather easily. This isn't a big problem but in one month this one has more scratches than my old tablet did in 8 years (Wacom Intuos3). See photo. Remember this is all day, every day use. The nib seems to wear faster as well. * Pen stand is just not great. I hate to nitpick but my old Wacom pen had a nice firm weighted stand and the pen fit in perfectly. This one is too shallow and it swivels around in a wobbly fashion. See photo. NOTES: * Pad is mapped to entire screen. This I actually prefer, so I don't mind, but if you prefer it the other way there is currently no way to set it. * Manufacturer was kind and prompt in responding to support request. The answer is still "we'll get to Linux when we get to it, if at all" -- and that's not a big shocker. * Several driver updates have been put out but on my OS (Ubuntu 18.04) they affect no change. I can choose some settings but they don't work. * I have not been able to get the pen to draw with size variation, though other pressure sensitive settings do work (though nothing I'd use). This might not be the tablet's fault - I can't be sure. Ultimately if you are looking for a tablet to work with Linux I'd have to give this one 3/5. If you want to draw with the tablet, look elsewhere for full compatibility (the eraser does not work on this for example). I like the look of this one SO much and the price point is just fantastic, but if I could have tried it before purchase I probably would not have bought. It's annoying to right click with two hands, for one. I'll stick with this one for now though, because it's a tool I use so heavily I'd rather just not be without one.

LIKED THE QUALITY, SIZE & PRICING
Actually, its better than i expected. I used to use wacom pen&tablets but after using XPPen i feel like this product is underrated. SURFACE & PEN both are with soft/smooth touch. Size of tablet is bigger than i expected. They providing Quality product in this price, which is awesome.

AWESOME first graphics tablet!!
This is definitely a life saver for my posture as an artist (by using a secondary monitor) and works amazingly well in terms of reactivity and tracking and was absolutely worth the money. This is my first graphics tablet and I do not regret buying this product at all— it only took me a little while for my hand-eye coordination to use this tablet to its fullest. Not to mention, I love buttons and custom keybinds, omg??? The pen holder is okay, but the stylus doesn’t seamlessly slide inside and wobbles a bit, which isn’t too much of an issue since I don’t plan on taking my big laptop or this graphics tablet outside regularly on the long run. Either way, 10/10, would buy from XPPen again!!

It's wonderfully huge!!!!
It is pretty big, so one has to be prepared for all the goodness. However, I don't personally use all its functions like the 8 short keys or the massive range for pressure. The customization is good on terms of changing the pressure range, for those who are used to other tablets. This is a pretty nice tablet to switch to or start with. The quality is good. I have dropped the pen a couple of times and it is still A-OK. One thing that confused me, which might be due to my lack of research, is that the tablet will have a film on top of it and it can still be used. When the film is no longer smooth and nice, it can be removed to reveal a toothy surface much like paper. it makes it feel as if I was writing with a pen and paper. it should have removed the film at the start, but I don't regret using the tablet the way I did.
