He learned quite a bit about pregnancy from this book and enjoyed reading it
This book is hilarious! I bought it for my husband sort of as a joke when I found out I was pregnant. He read it quickly because he couldn't put it down! He laughed out loud several times while reading it. He learned quite a bit about pregnancy from this book and enjoyed reading it.

Husband really enjoyed this book
I bought this for my husband so he could “try to get it”. He loved it and even cooked me something from the book. He laughed a lot and every once in a while he would use facts from it which I appreciated even though a man will never truly understand! I would buy this as a gift for others!

Condescending
My husband doesn’t like the tone of this book, “I’m a good for nothing caveman who has to wait on my wife hand and foot” but I liked it so I gave it a star from me. It has good facts but I am sure there are other books that don’t belittle your significant other.

No Thanks
I thought the book would be a bit more funny. I bought it but decided not to give it to my man, I just felt bad because the book is pretty condescending.

This is a great book filled with lots of good info
This is a great book filled with lots of good info! However it is FILLED with info. Lots to read, not an easy to breeze over kind of book, takes some sit down time to study. Great if you like that sort of thing, not so great if you'd like things a little more concise.

Bought this gift for a friend who was expecting his first baby and I didn't really like it. It had good information but I felt it was written in a way that kind of talked down to men. I know it was meant to be humorous and easy to understand but I wasn't thrilled.

Not thrilled with this selection
We ordered this book for my husband but he hasn't been too thrilled with it. We had gotten another daddy-to-be book that he liked much better. The way this is written is kind of silly.

This was a much better read for me than other pregnancy books
I found this book to be very helpful, and written in a way that I could appreciate. This was a much better read for me than other pregnancy books, especially because it teaches many life skills and tips that were very helpful. My wife especially appreciated the chapter on massage technique.

Awesome!
I have now bought this three times & all three fathers to be have been very grateful for them! It's a totally honest, yet amusing look at the things fathers aren't told about pregnancy, child birth & the new life they're going into. Fathers often get a little forgotten in the whole process, especially in the hospital & can be quite unnerved as they're not fully prepared by hospital staff for what to expect, yet they're still expected to be their woman's rock when they may not even know what on earth is going on! This book helps them for themselves & their woman. I would fully recommend this for fathers to be & if I could afford it, I would give them out in our local maternity hospital for free for a day!

Book is patronizing
My husband finds this book to be patronizing and written only for men who wouldn't otherwise pick up a novel. He is still planning on reading it, and the price was cheap.
