What are the read /write speeds like? Is it limited to whatever the micro sd card will do?

I have the same read/write speeds with this adapter as I do with the one I got from the factory. Heck, this one actually had a slightly faster read speed. However, when I first used it it was slow, even after formatting to mac journaled. Then I switched to the adapter that came with the card, and it was super fast. After switching back to this adapter, the card became super fast again. It’s weird but whatever it worked!
