Especially 3A - I'm writing this review as a long time yoyo player since 2004. I've owned and played with many yoyos costing well over the $200.00 mark. And I can tell a quality yoyo when I play with one. Or in this case.. two! I bought one Purple Line yoyo - the green splash with the blasted finish - and fell in love with how stable it was. So I got another one for 3A style (one of these in each hand, with a slightly shorter string on each) There is so much rim weight in all the right places, this yoyo is a STEAL. (67 grams including string that came with it) It has the little step by the response that a lot of high end yo-yos are adding now to help stability when playing horizontal. It can fingerspin, thumbgrind, and just spins for ever with that big rim weight. This is the best magicyoyo for 3A at this price point. Probably rocks for 5A (counterweight/freehand) too. If you search reddit, or the forums.. a lot of people say that the magicyoyo n12 Shark Honor is the best cheap magicyoyo. This one one spanks that one. I promise you. Doing 3A, with a purple line in my left, and a n12 in my right... the n12 will die/go off axis LOOONG before the Purple Line in my left. I've been throwing right handed a decade longer. Not saying the n12 isn't a solid yoyo, get both, you won't regret it. It comes with a single Poly string that's soft as heck and is a nice length. The green one game with a very nice yoyo glove and 5 strings. The green one has a blasted finish where this one is more of a standard anno. The finish isn't as good for grinds, but it works fine. And feels nice in the hand. The color is nice. When spinning it's about the deepest blue you can get. Looks amazing in sunlight. I will have to wait longer to see how the finish holds up to some 3A torture. The bearing that came with the blue one feels a little gritty, but the green one's 8 ball concave is flawless. Not a huge deal for me, since I was planning on upgrading the bearings anyways, and this is my only complaint. It may be solved by cleaning it. Still 5 stars for me. Outshines throws costing 3 times as much. Dear Magicyoyo, Bimetal version of this, with some fade colorways. ;) Review: Awesome Priced Metal Throw! - The MagicYoyo x iYo Purple Line is an amazing splash anodized metal throw for $16. Pros: This yoyo is a very affordable metal yoyo. I recently got back into throwing (played responsive growing up) and while watching tons of reviews for unresponsive yoyos, I came across this beauty! Dylan Kowalski, his buddy Seejay, and Tokyo-yo reviewed the Purple Line and their reactions to throwing this yoyo for the first time really proved to me that this was an amazing throw at an even better price! This thing has no vibe at all and the organic shape of the yoyo feels great in hand. The size of the diameter is average and the width isn't bad for unresponsive play. The Purple Line is blasted so it's great for thumb grinds, finger grinds, finger spins, etc. This this is a beast and it HAULS! Cons: Only a few cons come to mind when reviewing this yoyo and thinking about it's flaws. If you're a beginner, this throw is not for you. If you do NOT know how to bind, this yoyo is not for you. It is an UNRESPONSIVE yoyo and if you don't know that and still purchase this yoyo (which blatantly says it in the titles), you may want to start reading little more. The bearing in this was also a little messed up and didn't spin as good and as quietly (I cleaned and lubed the bearing) as the concave bearing that came with the K2 Crystal yoyo from MagicYoyo. So I ended up using that one in this yoyo. If I'm really knit picking, the black axel included with this yoyo is only a bad thing because it'll be hard to locate if you drop it. Purchase this yoyo while you still can for an amazing price! You won't be disappointed, I wasn't!!

Awesome Priced Metal Throw!
The MagicYoyo x iYo Purple Line is an amazing splash anodized metal throw for $16. Pros: This yoyo is a very affordable metal yoyo. an excellent yoyo
Ive been wanting a purple line since seeing them posted on the chinese magic yoyo site some time last year. It plays very smooth with no vibe. Magic yoyo bearings can be really good or absolute crap and this one is silent and spins great. It feels a little more "floaty" than the N12 and a slower but more stable than the Silencer. The finish is flawless and color scheme (black w/ blue splash) looks fantastic in the sunlight.

Unbeatable for the price.
Far and away I have heard many negetive reviews about magic yoyo and their products. I have no idea what people are talking about. The magic yoyo purple line is a shining example of how much yoyo can be bought for under 20 bucks. It's wide diameter and bell shape make learning 1A style tricks a breeze. Lacerations and one handed binds are just a breeze. Horizontal play is good as well, the smooth arcing gap makes correcting misses easy and painless. Thumb grinds are possible thanks to its thick outer ring. I haven't pulled off a finger spin yet, but I'm terrible at those so I won't assume its not possible. The finish looks great. I purchased the black with blue splash and the yoyo looks fantastic. The center trak bearing spins just fine, no wobble or vibration like many reviewers have mentioned. And I've held off writing this reviews for just that purpose. Which is too give this product a fair review. I'm very pleased with my purchase and not a single yoyo comes to mind to can compete with the quality of this beast for the price. 15$ and free shipping. This was my second yoyo from magic and I can only say that I am a happy and satisfied customer. So Magic yoyo, if you're listening consider me (and my wallet) impressed. -J.B.

Got a bad bearing with my MYYxIYo Purple Line
I really like the colorway for this yoyo, but I threw it around for about an hour and all of a sudden the bearing started to click, then it started to seize up. I would like to request a new bearing for this yoyo, because I'd rather not send it back considering that Amazon itself lost the package and had to re- buy the yo-yo. If you guys can send me a new bearing I will change to five stars, because for the little bit it did play, it played amazingly, exactly what I expected from Magic Yo-yo.

Boyfriends new hobby..
This is GREAT starter kit for someone wanting to learn unresponsive yoyo tricks. My boyfriend was super stoked to get it and 3 or 4 yoyos later, it's still his favorite one. The paint/color scheme is gorgeous! The bag helps him keep it all together as well. The glove fits a little loose on both of us, but still snug (if that makes any sense...lol). Love that it came with the bright string replacements also; they're very smooth! Thank you for a great product!

Original product and in good condition
Real smooth and unresponsive although the sleep time of the yoyo is not as promised. Also the bearing just wont come off not sure if that is a manufacturing defect . But its the original product and and came to me in good condition.

It works great and he is having fun learning new tricks
This was my son's first Yo-Yo and he loves it. These have become very popular with the boys at his school and he had to try one out. It works great and he is having fun learning new tricks. His didn't come with a bag as shown in the picture, but he did get the glove and strings (although not all the colours shown here).

Four Stars
I would have rated it 5 star if the string is more durable.
