Im on a low salt diet due to heart issues and needed an alternative to shop bought sauces etc that are packed full of salts.. Found this little star and can now make my own with all fresh ingredients.. It chops onions garlic ginger with just a few simple pulls and purees fruits with ease.. Very simple to use and to clean.. Blades are sharp so handle with care and i recommend hand washing or rinsing but literally only takes a second to clean it all up.. Very sturdy and takes up very little storage space. Im excited to continue using new ingredients to see what else i can make fresh... Advice if buying is remember you still need to dice the veg and fruits before adding them and dont overfill as you can always add more in if required.. But yes this does chop and puree so worth every penny

This is a great tool to have in the kitchen. I am rubbish at cutting onions in the various ways it can be cut and I always cry. This makes it not just easier, but also a pleasure. It does a good and quick job. However it is only suitable for cutting foods into small bits. You cannot cut Julienne with this. But I am personally happy with this limitation. I always cut the onions into a few smaller pieces before adding it into the dish but it's still quicker and no tears. It will eventually cut anything into small enough bits and it's very easy to clean, especially if washed immediately after use or after a bit of soaking. I have, of course, cut my finger on this when washing up and can attest it's very sharp. I usually use 1 onion in my recipes and this can cut up even really large onions in one go. The mechanisms it uses its really fun for me to use and makes me feel like a very small lumberjack which is always nice. The quality of the plastic and blades seems very good. I would recommend and buy again.

Great chopper, easy to use and saves a lot of work. Would have given it 5 stars but the middle spindle does not stay in position so well so makes the lid a little fiddly to put on at times. Easy enough to rectify but the issue loses it a star. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

My new favourite gadget. I had the smaller version and while it was ok it was too small. Now I can chop up much larger portions of onion and mushrooms in particular, makes things easier to hide. The 3 blades are good and sharp so it properly cuts rather than hacks. My hands are arthritic so this easy grip gadget saves me a lot of time. Love the design and ease of use

Pros good size (doesn’t take up lots of storage ) can chop half an onion size without it jamming (more than that and it is clunky) - chops really well (saves my arthritis riddled hands) Cons - fiddly to connect and keep the blade attached to both base and lid Crazy sharp! I cut myself (sliced and bleeding) three times trying to assemble, dismantle & clean it - these are literally razor blades ! Very dangerous (I’ve never cut myself even on a knife in the kitchen in over 50 years)

Easy to clean ,chops allsorts with ease ,nice large bowl good quality very affordable ,quickly makes pulp out of cabbage ,onions carrots, so don't pull the cord too many times 6 pulls is enough for most things .mind your fingers when washing the blades .also make very good batter for yorkshire puddings using the paddle attachment supplied. No cook should be without one .
