these bungees are labeled in the header as "Heavy Duty Straps" that come with Two "Climbing Hooks..."So it's safe to assume that these would be safe for climbing activity; that is, if you want to die.I did not use these for climbing, but i did use them in tandem as a leash for my 5 month old LabraDoodle Pup who weighs in at 36lbs. She is amazing and luckily for us, she was not climbing rocks. Within the first 15 minutes of walking my pup for the first time with these specific hooks and cord, the hooks came undone 5 times due to the ropes spinning and the windup had no release so one or more of the hooks came undone.if you truly don't like someone and you want them to die, get the person these cords and tell the to go rock climbing and that you'll pay for it and cover all costs... you'll never hear from them again...thank you and god bless

Everything about this bungee is robust. The cord itself has a heavy duty rubber exterior that seems very durable. The carbineers are attached to the cord with a thick rubber sheath. The carbineers themselves are are a strong AL alloy and the clips have a decent spring to keep them closed.These are nice cords.

I purchased this to use as a pull rope on the retractable ladder off the back of the pontoon boat. I attached it to the bottom rung and to the top of the ladder hardware to make it easy to grab and pull the ladder up. I could have done it with a rope but by using this because of the stretchy I didn't have a bunch of extra rope flopping around. It made the look clean and professional.

Very strong, with a good stretch distance. The carabiner clips are a huge upgrade from most bungee cords.

Love the carabiner clips on the cord, love the length.We use these to add extra security to our fence leading to the back yard. We have 2 big dogs to keep in. So far they have withstood the test. Will update if any changes occur with the product over the next few months.
