Jolie Laide??
I usually take a 6 and a half but I sent for the 7 as there don't seem to be half sizes. My first reaction when I took them out of the box was my god they're enormous! This was an hour ago and I still have them on. I have narrow, bony arthritic feet with a rather long big toe. But my whole foot seems to be cradled with the spongy inside of the shoe. These shoes are in no way beautiful and they make my feet look enormous but they are soo comfortable and they make me an inch taller. I notice that Merrell decided to call these shoes mules. I think the name is rather apt - a mule is the offspring of a male donkey and a female horse. Thank you Mr Wikipedia. To me these shoes look like the offspring of a clog and a slipper. Clippers? Sloppers? Perhaps Mules is best. I can't imagine where I'll wear them - I don't have a dog to walk; I am not on my feet all day. I am going to have to invent a whole new life style to justify these shoes.

lightweight, but supportive and durable
I've had these before, they're not cheap, but they are very comfortable. They're light, supportive and don't lose their shape over time. I spray the suede with a protectant, but the shoes themselves are fairly waterproof and they've stood up to years of rockhopping up and down the local shoreline several times a day.I'm happy to wear them out and about in bad weather, and they're stable on slippy ground, though for really rough terrain you might want something that also supports the ankels.

disappointed in my latest pair of Merrells
Don't be fooled by the look these will come up a size smaller than your trainer size. To be honest my first pair of Jungle mocs way back were what converted me to Merrell shoes. There were like walking on air and I never had a blister from them from day one. I believe these are now manufactured in a different place (although I'd have to check to be sure) but they are not as comfortable as my original pair. Even 3 weeks in wearing them almost daily, I still get blisters on one heel and the foot-bed doesn't feel as comfortable. In fact one of them feels a bit lumpy. They are pretty light and maybe the pair I got are slightly defective but I think if this pair had been my first pair of Merrells I may never have bought another pair.

Simply Brilliant Shoes
Ifirst bought these shoes two years ago because my work life means I have to travel a great deal, to be on my feet a lot and to need to look reasonably smart whilst doing so. I decided to invest in Merrells because a colleague recommended them as 'the best' in this style. They weren't cheap but I was delighted with them when they arrived and gave them a huge amount of wear over the ensuing period. I've just now taken delivery of a new pair. The shoes are beautifully made, every detail a work of art. They grip on wet pavements or thin ice and are wonderfuly kind to the broader foot. These shoes are sturdily made and warm enough for the British winter. The insides have a deodorising effect which makes them much easier to wear than trainers. They do come up somewhat large for the shoe size - I am used to having to order a half size larger in shoes but in this brand I don't need to. There is also room in them for a pair of smart winter socks (not the big fat woolly sort, but thick work socks). These shoes have no fiddly laces etc and are suitable for those with a visual disability.

A regular purchase for years
I adore these shoes, have used them for years, even as a waitress in a busy restaurant. Slip ons beat everything hands down. Great traction on snow, but be careful on ice. I use these year round as they’re so convenient when taking the dogs out for a quick wee etc.

Great price
Very good value for money. The best price I have seen for women’s jungle mocs. These shoes are the most comfortable I have ever known. Having had a slight joint problem I wouldn’t be able to walk far without them. They are fantastic! Great swift service and great price!

Seventh Pair
This is my seventh pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs, so this is bound to be a good review. The price from this supplier was excellent, twenty pounds less than on the Merrell site, so no complaints there. These shoes are perfect for my feet (which are broad). The engineered footbed provides good support and they're warm enough for winter while not being too warm for an English summer. I wear them all the time. The only downside is that though the soles look like tyre-treads, they can slip on wet surfaces so beware wet tiles, wet lino etc. When walking out in the street don't step on wet metal drain covers or you'll skid. Wet tarmac is fine. I'm used to them, but it can be a surprised first time round. Without the wet-slip factor these would score six or seven out of five.

They've changed the fit!
This was my 3rd pair of these shoes and I don't know what has changed but the fit is very tight and very uncomfortable and also painful after a short time. I got these shoes in October '19, it is now January 2020 and although I haven't worn them much (too uncomfortable) they show no sign of stretching a little. I didn't return them as I thought they would "give" slightly as my others have done but I am going to have to give up on them although they were not inexpensive. Not happy!!
