Review: Great for the solo musician - There's so much good in this keyboard. All the software it comes with is absolutely killer (Komplete Kontrol/Ableton) and the keys feel pretty good too. Just the right stretch of keys to not feel left out, can simultaneously conduct basslines and melodies with the range. Obviously doesnt feel like a real piano but it still feels like you're playing something. And again dude I cannot get over the software. The Gentleman piano vst that comes with it is gorgeous, having a copy of ableton is pretty nice, and theres enough sounds from synths to drums to basses that you cant not fall in love with it. No matter what genre you're absolutely set here. But if you're not, I'd urge you to check out Spitfire Audio LABS (it's free). If you're making songs this keyboard is absolutely perfect for whatever you may need it to be.
Review: Highly recommended - Super cool and fun. My son loves it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I tried this in a guitar center. the interface felt super slow and unresponsive. is this a problem with the kontrol or is it the computer?**
A: The response is snappy, I would imagine it was the computer. I use mine with a Mac and Pc and it works well. It can take a second or two to initialize some sounds of you ha e the preview enabled, but it’s likely that the machine you saw was just not configured right.

**Q: how would you connect this to an AMP?**
A: This is a keyboard "controller". It does not produce any sounds without external modules.
In other words, you need to connect this device, via MIDI, to a device that produces sound, which would then be connected to an amplifier.

**Q: Does this work with FL studio?**
A: Yes, it'll work with FL Studio. It's a controller. Just enable it in your midi settings in FL and open up Kontakt (which is the Native Instruments GUI with all the Native Instrument sounds) inside of FL Studio and play.

**Q: Can this work as a basic midi keyboard paired with a maschine MK3?**
A: Yes. They work well together. I have both. One advantage to using this keyboard along with the MK3 is that, let's say you have a sound on one of the pads of MK3, regardless of the sound whether a snare or kick or key or bass, the moment you tap it on MK3 it appears across this keyboard as a playable sound from low to high.
