We are using it on my old ( 100 ) floor that we hand scraped all the paint and mess off. After sweeping it and using a vacuum we used the cleaning machine to flush out the remaining paint particles and get the dirt off the floor. We did hand scrub ahead a little and used the cleaning machine to get out, and pick up the dirt. It is amazing. A perfect wood floor! Now we can finish it with confidence that the wood is clean.
