Beginner Friendly
I am an absolute beginner, so far I have perfectly coated 2 screen with no problem. I did fail at one screen but that was my own error. I dropped a big blob of the emulsion down onto the screen. Someone said this is not beginner friendly, but I have had no problem and I don't believe that I am just naturally skilled at this lol. The emulsion dries fairly fast and the image burning worked fine. Spraying the image out is easy and doesn't take long. I recommend a spray bottle for it. I did it first with a shower head but that was hard. I have coated a total of 3 screens and probably still have enough for one more. So it lasts pretty long. Overall this is a great product and I recommend it.

Works great.
I have used this emulsion numerous times now, and the only time I had an issue was when I didn't pre-wash my screen properly. I easily removed it with emulsion remover, washed my screen, dried it thoroughly, and then reapplied the emulsion and it worked perfectly. I don't think I'll go back to speedball because I find it harder to get the time right with speedball and with this emulsion, the time of light exposure is always consistent. I just wish it came in a bigger jar so I could use it for a class.

Does not work on metal
I'm giving this a five even though I have, what will sound like, a negative review. This stuff works, and probably well for what it is intended to work on, but I bought it for something completely different so, I want to warn anyone thinking of doing the same thing to STOP, don't try it. This stuff is made for silk screening, and having done a lot of silk screening in my day, I'm very confident it will work fine for that. It doesn't work on metal though. I knew this going in, but I really didn't want to buy a whole big roll of photosensitive film for the small project I am doing. This was cheap and I figured even though I wasn't going to use it all, it would be cheaper than buying a giant roll of film for twice the price and not using it. I don't etch all that much. When I do, I primarily etch copper or brass for model parts. I can go five years before that is necessary since I can also cast or machine small parts. But, very rarely, I need more detail than either casting or machining can provide; then I need photo etching. I thought I could make this work, but the emulsion just won't stick that well to metal, no matter how well you clean it or prep it. I tried 4x before giving up. I'm ordering the more expensive photosensitive film and trying to figure out what I need to silk screen. Also, this stuff really stinks (odor wise) and I got a head ache in a well ventilated room, so I used a respirator the next time and all was good. The thing is it does come out of the wash very crisp, but there is a very thin deceiving layer left behind and you can't have that with etching. If you try to remove that, with water or a brush, it destroys the detail (on metal). I'm sure silk will prevent that over washing from happening.

Don’t waste your money
This product was defective. I followed the directions exactly to add water to the amount of half of the photo sensitizer bottle. Then mixed the photo sensitizer into the emulsion. I mixed it very well. I let it sit for a few hours before I used it. I coated three screens with it and let them dry. I set the screens in the sun with the stencils on top. It only takes a few minutes for exposure, or at least it should. No exposure at all. I have been doing screen prints for years. This is the first time with this product with no success. I would not recommend this product. Wasted my money on this.

Great emulsion, probably not a great idea for first-timers/beginners.
Easy to use, thick enough to stick well to the Speedball silk screen that I used it with. The design I was using also had some pretty thin lines (few millimeters thick) and the emulsion still worked well enough to print those thin lines. Also got this because I read reviews saying that it's easy to wash off with a basic bleach solution. I haven't tried this yet, so I can't verify, but it's definitely a perk to not have to use another chemical to wash off the emulsion.. It's not 4 stars though because it took quite a bit of time to fully dry/process (like 6 hours). Not sure if that was my fault with the light I was using being too weak, or if the emulsion just doesn't process quickly.

Don't give up
So I bought this for the price, I could not afford to have tablets imprinted with my logo for an upcoming convention, so I decided to DIY it. First, I tried the suggestion of one of the reviewers with the halogen work light removing the glass and cage, but that did not work. Then after a lot of cursing and youtubing, I purchased this UV light 100W UV Black Light, Blacklight Flood Light with Plug and Switch, Black Light for Glow Party, Wavelength 385-400nm Purple Lights for Halloween/Christmas Dance Party Disco Night Club Fluorescent Keeping my screens in a very dark place, and doing the setup in the dark, I had my light source 12" above my screen and exposed for exactly one minute. It turned out perfectly. I could not have asked for better results. There was also no wash off from the rest of the screen. I will buy this the next time I have to do screen printing. To the manufacturer of this product, thank you for making a good product at an affordable price.

Have bought this specific emulsion multiple times now and have had good results with screens and is pretty easy to work with. Lasts pretty long too once mixed if kept in the fridge

I honestly wanted to trust this product, but after three failed attempts and watching thousands of youtube videos, reading how to on reddit forums, even watching their tutorials the emulsion did not work. I followed the exact processes of everyone, even one user on here that said to leave it for 10 hours, I I applied three coats evenly, let it dry till it was not wet to touch, exposed under the right conditions with the right lamps for the right time and even longer on the third time - even left it for an hour and it did not burn. I am not touching this product again, i have lost a week's worth of waiting for this too dry and $65 down the drain quite literally.
