Melissa & Doug Snacks & Sweets Pretend Play Food Cart

This was, hands down, the most loved Christmas gift my kids (ages 6, 5, and 3) have ever received. It has tremendous play value! We have a nice 3pc play kitchen and tons of M&D play foods (the ice cream and condiments get the most use!), so we already knew "playing restaurant" was a common activity for all of our children. But this adds a whole new level of fun, without being redundant. They each LOVE taking orders and finding what we've requested in the drawers. The play foods are all adorable, especially the ketchup/mustard that appear to pour when tipped, and the twin-pop popsicles that velcro together. The compartments in the drawer are a nice feature, as the kids pick up after play and put things away nicely. Assembling the unit was slightly overwhelming, as there were more pieces than you might imagine. But once it was complete it functioned perfectly. Our 3yo is able to maneuver it around and operate the drawers easily. Flipping the signs (awning and front menu) is easy and fun, and they don't seem to show wear from constant switching. The awning is a bit low/short for the older kids, but they don't seem to mind. Overall I would enthusiastically recommend this to anyone! My kids absolutely LOVE this toy and I'm very pleased with it as well.

Favorite Christmas gift for my 2 year old! This has been a true god send. Hours upon hours of playtime with this ice cream / snack cart. Very way to put together. The product and design is amazing. Perfect pretend play for all! My daughter is tall for her age so would also be great for 4+.

I bought this stand for my niece for Christmas and I am now the auntie of the year ( if not for life). The setup was a little difficult so be prepared to dedicate a solid hour to put this together - I promise the smile on the angelic face of your designated tiny person will make it totally worth it! Within minutes, my niece was selling wooden ice creams to the family for the low cost of $3 million per cone. She promptly collected our reviews and hung them on the handy dandy canopy above the cart. My niece is a itty bitty thing but she rolled this cart around the house with ease. The bell is a beautiful touch as well for her to get the attention of potential customers. Not only did she LOVE this gift, but it is sturdy and durable enough to last her until she opens a real business. By purchasing this gift for my niece, I 100% set her on a path to opening her own company and becoming a successful CEO by her mid 20s. I bought this for my neice. She loves it! It is compact in size but still big enough to grow with a child. They will be able to play with this for a long time. It comes with a lot of extras to go with the snack stand. So you dont have to buy extras to play with it. Its very functional and sturdy. Your kids will love it at any age rage.

Got this as a birthday present for my nephew and don’t regret the purchase one bit, he loves it. Makes for a great conversation piece too when you’re hauling such a big gift around the party haha

This is a beautiful ice cream cart. My kids love playing with it, and it includes many accessories. It can go from ice cream cart to a fast food stand. It’s made out of wood, which makes it durable and stable. The wheels do not roll, which makes repositioning a little harder unless you are an adult. The biggest recommendation is to NOT WAIT TO BUILD this until after you give it to your child!!!!! It is not a quick process, and there’s a lot of small sticks and things. You need to be by yourself, not with a child desperate to play. It takes some time. We waited to the night before Christmas and even then might have been too late as we were tired and didn’t expect it to take so long to put together. We adjusted the bell to hang a little lower so that our 26 month old could reach it to ring. We’ve also used this as a birthday decoration for an ice cream party. It’s a big toy, so make sure you have room for storage.

I bought this ice cream and hot dog cart after my daughter played with it at a local toy store and kept bringing it up for months. When Christmas rolled around I bit the bullet. I was a bit concerned just because this is a pricier item, and I wasn't sure if my daughter would maintain the interest she demonstrated at the toy store. It has been 4 months and she and her younger brother still play with this frequently. As with all Melissa and Doug items, it is well made and well thought out. Aside from the little bell to ring, it doesn't have any annoying sounds. It includes quite a lot of pieces, including hotdogs and buns (with toppings and ketchup and mustard bottles), popsicles, soda cans, frozen ice, ice cream sandwiches, and pretzels. Everything fits in the drawers of the cart. My daughter spends time organizing the drawers and then preparing orders for her "customers." The sign on the front of the cart and the awning can be flipped around so you can be in "hot dog cart" OR "ice cream cart" mode, although we usually mix up the two. There are prices listed for the items, so if you have a toy cash register you can also pretend to pay for things. We usually play with this alongside my younger son's Fisher Price Food Truck, and both kids share their food items and get met to taste their various creations. We also mix in other things we have, such as toy plates for our kitchen. Sometimes the stuffed animals and dolls get food for a picnic. It's really been a good toy for both kids and I would buy this again, even though it does take up some extra space in the play room.

Bought as a gift for my daughter. While putting it together I noticed that at step 1 The screws didn't stay in the piece to connect. Like the holes in the product didn't take the screws it was asking for. The screws just kept turning without tightening. Yes, I was using the correct screws. I triple checked. The directions also were misleading on multiple steps after step 1. The only thing I can think of to do is buy clear silicone to cover the screws in the problem area because they keep falling out. If the screws fall out the entire front piece will fall off. Speaking of screws there were not enough small screws and too many "long screws". Poked a hole in two spots through the wood. I know. Sounds like I made a few mistakes. I had a few people double check the directions with me and came to the same conclusions. It's way too much of a hastle to me to take it apart and return it at this point plus this is my daughter's big Christmas gift, so I am stuck. 1 tip I could give is to make an assembly video and put it on YouTube.

Nos encantó a todos, hasta los adultos jugamos jeje, es muy real y cuenta con todos los detalles de un carrito de comida, puedes voltear tanto el toldo como el letrero de abajo para cambiar de modo helados a hotdogs, cuenta con 2 cajones donde guardas y acomodas los productos y las 2 puertas de arriba abren para la preparación. Quiza pueda ser pesado para empujar en niños pequeños pero quiza es mejor para que no de mueva tan fácil al estar detenido jugando.

Sticker is upside down on main part of truck, looks ridiculous. Very unhappy with the price we paid for it. Cannot return as bought earlier for a birthday so when opened it was too late to return.

Best purchase ever for my young child. Slightly expensive but worth it. Great quality with comprehensive accessories to keep the little one happy and engaged.

Looks great but quality of the product is really bad. I got 2 of them (one to be use as a ice cream and second hot-dog stand) and both of them broke within less that a week. design of the wheels is fault as both of them broke exactly in the same place where the wheel connect to the rest of the toy.
