A Great Manual for Young Men
A must have Manhood Bible. This book is easy to read with short sections that get to the point. My two boys, ages 10 and 12, find it easy to read. Of course they don't think they need to read it so I have read some of the topics to them that pertain to their age. It's very well written. Yes, there is some very basic stuff, and hopefully if you've been taught well as a young man, most of the topics covered will not be that helpful to a grown man. However, I have a 29 year old nephew who would benefit greatly to read this book. Some topics like; dating, credit cards, changing a tire, don't pertain to my boys right now, but this is a good resource to have around for them to grow up with. I have to admit, there were a couple of topics that helped me out, and a number of refresher topics. I shared it with my brother-in-law who has a 10 year old son and he went out and bought one for him.I think this is a good book for all families to have. Even thought its geared for young men some of the topics are suitable for young women (they probably have their own book though).

Very detailed on each subject
Basic knowledge that seems to escape the younger generation since they have not been exposed to quite a bit. It provides a good basis and what to do in certain situations I would recommend as far as a teen becoming a young adult a necessity

The ultimate guide to a successful start in life - for every 18 year old young man.
I gave this to my son for his 18th birthday. This book is simply amazing. It is everything and more that I want him to know and be aware of. Most of the topics I have covered and he has ignored me like many kids will do. He doesnโt like to read either. However, there was a chapter in how to impress a girl!!! That pulled him in and from there he has continued to read. I found his place marked on creating a budget. That has started a great conversation about his finances and saving for the day he plans to move out. Nothing is left out of this book. It is well written and simple to follow. I have recommended this to everyone with boys.

Great gift!
Gave this to my grandson for Christmas, and when asked what was his favorite gift, he said it was this book. And we gave him more than just that book. Before we wrapped it and sent it off to him, I read through it here and there, and I would highly recommend this book.

Preparing Our Future Men
I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my 16 year old nephew after he asked mommyhoodchaos, "Aunt T? How do you make a quesadilla?" Say what kid?? Has your Dad taught you nothing? LOL. Determined that my very handsome nephew who is becoming quite the young man, not be sent out into the world having to rely on a female to take care him. This book has everything! From How to impress girls (slow down bud plenty of time for that), how to change a tire, hot to balance a checkbook, and make a budget. All very crucial and vital thing that unfortunately our schools do not teach and with many divorced families and working parents these thing can fall to the way side. I am determined as a mother of 2 boys myself that we send men out into the world not parent reliant boys. This book helps in so many areas. As I am a female and not a male, there are of course many thing that I can not answer from a male prospective, but this book can! And whats better? He loved it! He goes thru it anytime that he has a question because he'd rather try to figure it out himself before reaching out for help. My Sister in Law has informed me that since receiving his book for Christmas he reads it just about everyday and he cant help but get excited and have to show her something that he just read and or learned from it. This warms my heart! I highly recommend this book.*I DID NOT receive this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Perfect for your teenager who is becoming a man too quickly..
I bought this book as a Christmas present for my stepson who is 14 and about to turn 15. He's becoming a young man and a ton of things that a man should know how to do are in there. In short order of course but it's a little crash course! Everything from breaking up with a girl in a graceful and respectful way to cooking the perfect steak and everything in between! Perfect for a boy who is in that awkward and confusing stage of life where he's not quite a boy and not quite a man but feels like he IS a man but his voice still cracks and he calls his mother mommy still... the age all of us men when through at some point and I wish that I had a book like this to help me out a little bit when I was his age. I recommendThe Manual to Manhood: How to Cook the Perfect Steak, Change a Tire, Impress a Girl & 97 Other Skills You Need to Survive this book to any young men or any fathers who would like to bestow these great "men gems" on your soon to be men!

There is better out there
Iโve taken advantage of a 97% discount for this one (less than a dollar), otherwise Iโd be really really pissed of having bought it. I know there are people out there who need this simple list of instructions on different matters but I expected it to add something or maybe be more detailed and graphical. As I mentioned, there are certainly better material out there to โteachโ those things to guys if not their fathers.

Excellent!!! Perfect gift!
I bought this for my son for Christmas. So heโs yet to read it, but my coworkers and I went through the book one day (as well as surviving middle school) and we had quite a laugh and might even have learnt a thing or two. It will be a great resource for my almost teenage boy and even has a few things I will need as a single mom (changing a tire etc). Very well written, itโs an easy read, it covers the basics and then some.Would recommend this and have actually to several coworkers and friends.

Slightly western
Slightly western. Your son should be mature enough to distinguish western and Indian culture.
