Just what I need
I experience hip pain and lower back pain at times. This was not a fix-all by any means, but having that extra pressure with this belt made doing certain things much more comfortable. Most often I would wear it at home for an hour or so before decompressing for bed. It helped let my hips realign a little better for the next day. If it was really bad I would wear it to sleep until I woke up.I personally think stretching as much as you can (even though you are in pain) before putting on this brace, and after taking it off helped more than just slapping it on and off.Regardless, it does help more than you would think for a pelvic strap. Very strong pressure when you tighten it down. But can also be adjusted to not be so harsh, depending on the person. No issues with this product.

AMAZING!
I really did not have high hopes for this, as I have been dealing with arthritis, SI joint pain, one hip higher than the other….piraformis syndrome sometimes so bad, my hip would lock up. Pain 24/7….I can’t sit too long or stand, or walk too much. I have ms and use a cane on a regular basis, which may not help with all my problems.2 months pre-Covid, I started Myofascial release treatment. She didn’t take insurance and was expensive, but I was seeing improvement. Then Covid hit and I stopped and have not been back.So about a week ago I ordered this belt, put it on and wore it 3 days straight. I was blown away!!! NO PAIN…WTH?! I thought no way….took a break from it the next day, pain started back up! So later that evening back on it went. I am shocked that this simple belt, has made me comfortable again…I can sleep at night now, I am not constantly tossing and turning trying to get comfortable.I am a believer in this belt, I feel like a different person and am so thankful for finding it and trying it.If you have hip, leg si joint pain, sciatica, etc….try this, you WONT be sorry.Thank you!!!*I am a vine voice, yet I paid for this product myself. I have never received product in turn for reviews. I try to give an honest review of the products I purchase.

Effective
I needed sacroiliac joint support so tried this. It is pretty good - good for stabilizing the hips while sitting, standing, reclining. Due to having curvy hips, this unit did slide up on me so would require pulling down or revelcroing from time to time to keep the pressure on the hip area and not just being a waist cozy. I do also use the Mueller 9 inch lumbar support and have gone back to that because It does not walk up so much. I was glad to get this though during a particularly bad time with the sacroiliac joint - it helped stabilize the hips to 'break the cycle of pain' and speed up healing.

Good Design
I have been wearing SI belts for quite a while because of my chronic back problem. Although it remains to be seen how well it will last, the design gives me hope.Unlike most others, it is narrower in front and widest at the hips. This translates into larger support on the hips, without forcing a fold or roll in front. I am a little overweight, so my stomach protrudes (I imaging this is particularly true for pregnant women. The narrower front portion stays in proper shape because stomach does not part of it to bend or fold. Many lose grip and cease being flat at the key fastener area. This design also has side bands that can distribute he area even more. It tends to make it supportive without having to tighten so much.Wearing for casual and gym for about a month now, and quite happy with it.

Better than nothing
I have a different kind which coated me $$$ but it worked well until I gained so much weight. So I got this one hoping works like a magic, but it stretch so well that I don't feel much support on my back. If tied too strong, it will be uncomfortable. But it is better than nothing. If I got orthopedic supporter from medical doctor with insurance (?), it's usually less than $30 and this one price is not expensive. I just keep it until I find my ideal one.

It Works For Me
I have two partially collapsed vertebrae from cancer and chemo has stripped away a lot of muscle. My SI joint is unstable and causes considerable pain when sitting and standing up. My physical therapist mentioned that these belts exist although she had no experience with them. The price was low enough to be worth a try and the Vriksasana belt seemed to be the best technically, so I ordered one.The belt provided immediate reduction of my pain level and has made sitting and standing up as well as walking less painful. I took it to physical therapy and we tried a few mobility tests with and without the belt. Performance was better on each test when wearing the belt. The belt is thin enough to wear under my jeans when I go out, allowing me to get into my pockets, but I prefer to wear it outside my clothing around the house for ease of readjustment. The website recommended wearing it night and day for the first two weeks, so I am trying to do that. The belt does a good job of not slipping or riding up but vertical placement is important. If I am not feeling the relief I expect, I might need to adjust the position a little lower.

Feels Great
I just received this and it appears that this is going to work for me. It gives me the lower back support I am looking for. The size and shape are perfect. I tried several other back braces and they were so big I felt like I had a body cast on.
