It’s recommended you put a small light on the tank to keep the water a bit warmer and promote algae growth, which they eat. I picked up an old desk lamp for $2 at a thrift store that works great. Once algae is established, you don’t really need to feed except maybe once a month. The kit comes with paperwork from the manufacturer that allows you to order additional accessories. Great for classrooms, college dorms or your office!

We got no troubles, life is just bubbles!! A few months ago I picked up this SeaMonkey kit. They took about 2 weeks to become visible, but have been incredibly relaxing to watch swim about! It’s recommended you put a small light on the tank to keep the water a bit warmer and promote algae growth, which they eat. I picked up an old desk lamp for $2 at a thrift store that works great. I had thought oh yea super easy. I’ve done it before, but this was a different brand. Meant for my 5/9 yr old girls an I to just have something interesting. NOTHING. I’ve used the correct water, waited another day after the first packet, added the little dudes and still nothing. I should’ve known based off of the reviews.
