This standing rubbermaid storage container is perfect for storing outside patio furniture pillows etc. Unfortunately, it does not come with shelves, nor do they sell them as an accessory, which is odd because it does have some grooves to place shelving. I took a tip from a previous reviewer who bought a separate shelving unit. It fit perfectly. I can store 8 seat cushions and 8 pillows easily. I use the bottom shelf for my plastic dishes, cups, and utensils and there is still some room. I have it out on a back deck nestled in a corner of a bump out. It has rained several days but everything has been kept dry. Not sure how it will hold up in torrential downpours. It was extremely easy to put together- like 6 pieces groove and lock; didn’t even use a mallet. I use a carabiner to hold the doors together but you can use another locking system. It is very sturdy- excellent quality.

Received this product quickly as promised and without any damage from shipping. The shed is exactly as described and literally took less than ten minutes to assemble without the use of any tools beyond my bare hands. I even put it together at night in partial darkness after it being delivered. The shed is sturdy enough to serve its purpose, it certainly isn't as rigid as a wooden or aluminum shed, but you're also not going to purchase one of those for just over a hundred dollars, not to mention they take much more time to assemble and have their own problems such as rust or rot. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I already have an aluminum shed for storage and a larger cement/wood shed utilized as my workshop. I wanted something for outside the workshop to hold the majority of my long handle garden tools so as to not take up the limited wall space in my workshop and this Rubbermaid shed is perfect. I attached a couple photos taken the night I put it together and placed a shovel inside just to give a sense of scale in the photos. If you''re looking for an affordable, lightweight, weather resistant long handle tool shed, this is certainly a safe bet. Something I will most likely do is mount/secure it to the wall of my workshop through the back of the Rubbermaid shed, this will prevent it from tipping over for safety and also ease my slight paranoia that someone could come up with a dolly (hand cart) and cart the entire shed away. Far-fetched, but possible I suppose.

Easy to put together. FYI dimensions are outside dimensions not inside. Walls are thick so inner dimensions are maybe 4 or 5 inches smaller than stated size. I bought this to keep our lawn furniture cushions out of the weather. The advertised dimensions fit my cushions perfectly. In reality two cushions would not fit due to the smaller interior dimensions. Construction of shed, while simple , seems strong and will hold up long term.

Okay, aside from the crazy high price, this Rubbermaid item is virtually a snap to put together! This is the second unit I've had; I left the first one at my old home when I moved. At fist I tried to save money by buying a metal cabinet I had also seen on Amazon. I wanted to save money (STUPID) and so I learned. The metal unit remains to this day in my garage, half finished, a monument to stupidity (me). This unit is easy to assemble (6 pieces) and with a second person to help, can be up and running in 30 minutes. It is outside; it must be secured somehow to prevent wind from trying to blow it down. I placed a 60 pound bag of cement on the floor of the unit, but you could also secure it to a wall with screws. This item does not come with shelves but it does have the necessary plans to make your own. I did so, and also secured them to the walls using caulking. Easy peasy!

This shed is perfect for my purposes. I wanted a shed that was attractive enough to set against my home in a deeded community without causing a problem with the architectural committee. This shed does that. I also wanted a shed that was sturdy and would hold all of my yard tools. I have added hangers inside the shed to hold shovels, saws, rakes, clippers, and more. I have fastened the shed directly to the house using lag screws and washers through the four places on the shed's back designed for that purpose. The shed went together in a minute. All it needed were a few taps from a rubber hammer to coax parts into place. I have seen reviews where people have complained that these products are difficult to put together. I can't quite fathom that. If the shed went together any easier it would assemble itself! I think this is a great product. It is sturdy, attractive and best of all, it holds all the tools I want it to.

First off, I am an Amazon Prime member, and I was surprised to see the normal, free two-day shipping on this admittedly huge item. I was even more surprised when it happened to arrive overnight. I mean, the package is approx 7'x2'x1'. And I had it shipped to my door, overnight, for free. If I had purchased this at Home Depot, I wouldn't have been able to fit it in my car. Secondly, it was easy to assemble. Stupidly easy. No assembly hardware at all... this is a snap-together item. It recommends a rubber mallet to put the floor on, but if you roll it onto it's front, you can snap the floor on without even that tool. It took two people about 5 minutes to assemble it. I could have done it my myself in 10-15. It's just barely large enough for our 18" reel mower, but also fits our edger, and we still have room to use the top shelf. It does NOT come with shelves, but rather indentations for a shelf to slip in. Rubbermaid sells them, but a plank of wood works just as well. This is not large enough to shelter both yard supplies (a small mower and edger) and garden supplies (bags of soil/seed, tools, pots, etc) at the same time, nor will it store any mower at all except the smallest reel mower, but for the price and for my needs, this is excellent. If there are any problems with longevity or water penetration, I will revise this review, but no news is good news.

Very easy to put together for one person. I have it on my porch so I don’t know about waterproof. I think this will last a long time. I’m disappointed about no option to buy shelves for it but I’m sure I can come up with something.

Yes, it is easy to put together. But I cannot believe that not only does it not come with shelves, but one cannot even buy shelves made to fit from Rubbermaid! Fortunately I bought these sheds (yes, I bought 2, not just 1) at a lightening deal price of $119 each, because they are nowhere near the $149 standard price when all it holds are items 6 feet tall (like shovels). I would return them, but I already cut the boxes and put the units together. Mistake on my part. And when I bought them, I did not notice the mention that shelves were not included. I trusted a picture on amazon.com which showed 2 or 3 shelves in the unit. Some reviewers mention how easy it is to get 1x10 lumber and cut the shelves, along with a notch at the back. But some people, like me, are too busy to build my own shelves. That is why I bought this unit in the first place!! Update 05/29/2015: I decided to search for Rubbermaid shelves for these storage sheds (I purchased 2 at $119 each). They are nearly impossible to find. So I contacted Rubbermaid via e-mail. They informed me that they do sell the plastic shelves for this unit, but they cost $71.31 EACH!! This is laughable. I will no longer buy any Rubbermaid products as I consider this to be blatant price gouging. I may throw out the units as they hold very little without any shelves. Here is the e-mail I received from Rubbermaid: "Thank you for choosing Newell Rubbermaid Office Products. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality and service.
